What ships to get familiar with Wspace?

What were your first ships/fits when you were getting used to popping into Wspace and running ops?

My experience in wspace is me being part of a fleet running C5 combat sites. I learned quite a bit from participating but now i want to see what i can accomplish on my own.

I have 2 accounts, both have strong scanning skills and both can field T2 covert ops ships as well as fly beefier setups (command ships, T3s)

So now i would like to see what i can run with these two guys, on my own, and i will be starting in C1/C2s, while i get my bearings.

i was thinking i would be able to get away with some cheap T1 frigate fits? Or should i try to put cruisers together for it? I'm obviously at a loss as i've simply been a participant, in the past, and these fleets always have their specified fits/ship requirements when running the sites.

Early on running around wormholes, I would say you'll become intimately familiar with your pod...

Have fun :)

Everyone is a comedian.

I started in a C1 as a noob (only been playing eve for 5 months at the time). Almost 3 years later I've only personally ever lost one ship running sites (a noctis).

For C1- any BC will do fine. Even some cruisers should work.
For C2 again, BC's work
C3's can be done dual boxed easily in command ships T3's etc.

With two tengus you can do C4 sites. But you can probably be better at isk/hr at C3 or C3static but C4s are so peacefull.... For fits look at anomaly damage output in eve-survial.com and EFT warrior fit for you. Simple stuff is C1 lol, C2 400, C3 700, C4 1400 dps tank.

Good start is daytripping in drake but i dont see why you would do C1/2s when you were in C5 and surely got used to cap escallation income.

But remember one thing which all wormholers keep secret: large pos is large and takes several (maybe dozens) of iteron V trips.

What class are you going to do solo. For sure you want covert ops and also appropriate industry ships itty 5 for fuel stuff and the more specific ones for ore and mineral if you mine and the pi one for sure. You will want a noctis for salvage or at least a salvage destroyer you will want a venture for gas sites. If c1 or c2 drake will do fine c3 tengu or pve battleship. You will want a variety of pvp ships. I understand that a tengu ball can do c4 but I think rr dominex is also good especially if you have a rr carrier with.
