As for the coments of the drops, well of course the a big alliance was going to grab it all, they have the firepower to do so, and lets face it someone was going to gate camp too, thats life in New Eden. All i can say was after the dust settled, everyone in Jita fleet enjoyed it, some where annoyed as first in they got no loot to pay for their loses, but thats eve isn't it. Hell there was even a warning on log in!

Just want to add:
Pandemic legions kind of fun is showing off and trying to ruin it for other players.
You get this in every game though.

It was a public event, in a place we were ok to bring whatever ships we wanted. Why should our sub cap pilots get to have all the fun?

This. Hotdropping with a Cap/Supercap fleet (kind of[Hooray Logoffski Fix]) comes with the risk of losing said Cap/Supercap fleet to another Cap/Supercap fleet.

While I'm not a big fan of large Cap/Supercap battles, or battles in which one side has those tools and the other doesn't, they make sense given the rules as they exist now. PL acted perfectly reasonably in dropping an overwhelming force to whore on killm... dispatch their adversaries.

Had CCP wanted to keep the fight limited to Subcapital ships, they'd have simply cyno-jammed the system a-la Incursions. They didn't so it seems they ... like being ganked by supers... or wanted to fight under the same conditions we do.

Or as somene else wrote, its just fine that supercaps has been presented, since as you can probably imagine every supercap pilot is pissed off and want to destroy DEV team in game. So they got their satisfaction before the nerf.

When I saw this I realized just how bs blobs really are. Keep rewarding the blobs ccp so that everyone conforms to the legitimacy of the blob.

The blob is law, the blob is annoying as hell.

Eve is the blob, eve is annoying as hell.

I saw a quote saying how eve was better than Wow because it is an every-kid-gets-a-trophy game where eve you actually have to work for it. Now you dont have to work for it, just fly supers and you're good.
