EVE Client for Mac - unable to download newest build

I have deleted everything out of my cache and I'm still having troubles getting the newest build to download.

I get these windows when I open up the program.. (this is a full installed version btw)

Pictures of Problem

First picture is the download question... Second pic is the result.

Again, I've cleared everything out of the cache folder.
Restarted my computer.
And get the same situation.
I've also submitted a support ticket a couple hours ago.

Fall 2008 Macbook Pro with a few bells and whistles....

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions anyone might have on this...

Are you trying to bypass the launcher? You can't update in game.

Launch EVE using the launcher then update via the launcher then it should work.

Nope. This is the log in window that first opens when I start the game. I can't log in to even begin playing.

UPDATE:

My interpretation of the launcher was the full black colored window as in the picture I posted earlier.
That was the only window that opened upon clicking my EVE icon. I fixed my problem by going into:

Applications/EVEOnline

Right clicking on the app and then clicking - Show Package Contents
Then click:

Contents/MacOS/launcher

A terminal window opened and ran until a small game launcher window opened up where I was able to log in and it updated then.

Glad this worked as my skill tree was empty!

I had exactly the same issue. Launching game directly would fail with the download error. Loading the game client would just freeze.

Fixed the problem by renaming the cache folder under /Applications/Eve Online.app/Contents/Resources/cache

I renamed it to cache.old and once i launched the client it repatched everything and off it went.
