Cubcaps are broken. Please fix them

E.i. creating massive lag in nullsec warfare and causing node crashes when they warp on grids or jump gates, thus making the most advertised aspect of this game completly unplayable.

But you need to address this issue asap. One of possible solutions: enable subcap grouping option so my fc can micro me like am zergling or something similar.

Yeah right now subcaps are completely broken. Please fix it CCP. They just create too much lag when they jump through gates.

I think a good temporary fix would be to reduce the number of locked targets to 3, and give all guns fit to subcaps "reduced damage against large targets". It's a quick surgical fix, I know, but once community feedback has arrived the issue can be re-addressed to come up with a more permanent solution around winter 2017. Some of the other suggested fixes such as making subcaps only able to lock other subcaps would clearly fix the "broken" nature of subcap lag, however my proposed solution is much less well thought out and so more in the spirit of the game.

Cubcaps are all the little ships that crawl around mine carrier. There is like 50 millions of them. They make so much lag with all their frittering about.

They take gates, tidi
They undock, tidi
They warp on grid, tidi
They launch bombs, tidi
They die and give to me great killmail, tidi

I do not want them nerf, just ccp need fix the lag.
