I work very hard in real life with vulnerable young people and am constantly challenged by mainstream media in trying to break down prejudiced attitudes. I don't know much about the culture in Iceland but even to this day Governments around the world are working to criminalise people for their sexual preferences.

It is a shame to see a company like CCP behaving so irresponsibly.

There is a problem when people start dictating what others can and can not say. Especily when they use the guise of a morally elevated position like "im a social worker and ...."

If you feel the word is being used netagively towards you, simply ignore it and realize that person is ignorant because of it. Theres no reason to start some kind of ribbon campaign and demonize the word, because thats just giving that word more power to hurt more people.

I am sick of people playing victim cards trying to speak out against something or another.

"SuperGay Fairy" does not even imply any kind of insult. Maybe that CCP employee is a homosexual and proud of it? Perhaps the person is not a native English speaker and uses the original meaning of the word? When someone from Britain asks for a cigarette you know what happens?

When I come into this thread, I thought this was going to be another complaint about not letting male "toons" wear women's clothes. P

For the record, I showed the killmail page to a gay friend, and the only thing he saw wrong was that the toon didn't look like a supergay fairy.
