Launcher locking up

I seem to be having an issue with my launcher - it locks up as soon as I start it and won't even let me enter my password. Any suggestions as to how to fix?

If you have encountered launcher problems just use the EVE executable directly and avoid the hassles until they get the launcher right.

Hey Im having the same problem every time I click to start my client it doesnt load up checking current patch or anything and doesnt let me sign in, tried downloading the repair tool and nothing, Im curious as to where you go to check out the log file cause theres not a save spot for my repair tool showing any kind of log file.

I had some similar issues, and I managed to fix them by running the "updater.exe" thing found in EVE\Launcher\cache. Might work for you, too.
