Havent really played in rather a long time and now I am wondering what ships one should use to take down an undefended/unfueled high sec POS? Domi and Geddon arent viable anymore because of changes, right? Whats the new way to go, if you just want to sit afk and blast away most cost efficiently? Abaddon?

Would really appreciate any hints or even fittings :)

If you're going AFK, you want the highest DPS cap stable fit you can get. Abbadon looks like your best bet if you're limiting yourself to T1 hulls. Heatsinks in the lows, pulse lasers w T1 multifreq in highs, cap rechargers in mids if you need the cap. You should be able to EFT it up yourself.
Though after the third or fourth heatsink I'd probably start sticking on modules to boost my EHP, just in case someone tries to suicide gank it.

As for cost effectiveness, as long as you don't rig it you'll get most of your ISK back by selling the ship afterwards. Which is why I didn't include any.

Why do you think Geddon is not viable anymore?

Best ships for the job are 1) pulse heavy drone Geddon, 2) pulse heavy drone Navy Geddon. Second is more expensive, but it has more DPS. Fill lows with heatsinks and DDAs.

Put on target, go afk, come back after many hours to see tower dead.

Quick check in EFT showed a change to the high slots of the Geddon. Dominix might still be viable espacially with the new drone dmg modules.

I would use Oracles, Domis or Ishtars/Vexro Navy Issue

Nisroc - Angel of Freedom Nisroc is known as "The Great Eagle".

a geddon is a drone ship. use 5 ogre II and fit 5 mega pulse on it. Lows are drone damage mods and heat sinks. over 1000 dps no sweat.

Yes, after the change it became even better than before.

Looked into EFT, actually pulse+heavy drone Dominix has ~50 more DPS than same setup on Armageddon (for pure passive setup that is, Armageddon is still better if you put couple torpedo launchers on top of that). So the best ships are as follows:

1) Navy armageddon
2) Dominix (pulses)
3) Armageddon

if you are using lasers and want cost efficiency

Oracle

Okay, ended up with one multi-fitted Armageddon for my main toon, since he already has all the required skills apart from Amarr BS and 4 Oracles for twinks, which I still need to train.
