The Need for Big Bloc Advantages: Bubbles Disrupt Cloak Mechanics

This is not a rage post, I am not horribly upset that we lost one ship out of dozens, it is simply an appeal to those who favor empire building over harassment tactics.

The other night we had a blockade runner get past us, we had 11 interceptors 28 cruisers and almost fifty battleships camping one of the gates in our 0.0 We had a 100% catch rate even managing to kill a would-be cloaky tengu due to some creative gameplay mechanics. This was all fun and games until a blockade runner (Crane) managed to cloak up. We had interceptors burn all over the area he was in, and still never managed to catch him.

There seriously needs to be a hard counter to blockade runners.

If we have 100 people sitting on a gate there should be ZERO chance of survival for anything coming through it.

It is time CCP stoped catering to minoritiy "QQ I have no friends" palyers and finally started giving advantages to larger organizations. EVE lives and dies on the income from Power blocs there is no need to coddle the "solo, small gang" player. 0.0 is a place for Player-Driven Empires, not pitiful squatters.

CCP please take your time with this, I am bothered but not outraged or anything, I just would like to see some play testing on a testing realm to see the advantages and possibly disadvantages of warp disruption spheres preventing cloaking.

Thank You Obama!

So you have a gate camp. Or, in other words, a blockade.

And a blockade runner managed to slip past you.

I fail to see the issue here.

Can't tell if troll or serious post...

Blockade runner beats blockade, news just in Big smile

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

This post and the OP are so bad. You didn't have a 100% success rate so you want the game changed? The only QQ'ing that I see is from you silly girl.

Face it, you and your camp got beat, you suck, all there is to it.

And the powerblocks do not prop up eve. Sorry, they just don't.

Why?

Have you tried 101 people?

ZERO chance seems kind of, I don't know, against the spirit of the game honestly. Everyone, everywhere should have at least a 0.00000001% chance of success (results not typical - your experience may vary).

Fixed to make sense.

Imagine that, a blockade runner running a blockade. Who'da thunk it?

Money at its root is a form of rationing. When the richest 85 people have as much wealth as the poorest 3.5 billion (50% of humanity) it is clear where the source of poverty is. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/jan/20/trickle-down-economics-broken-promise-richest-85

I don't really see the point of adding a FORCED miss-chance into gate camping.

I partake in two of the most popular PVP activities,

Suicide Ganking
Gate Camping

And that is generally all I have time for, the rest of the so called "PVP" is just too time intensive.

Blockade Runners are made to go past blockades; you missed only one ship among many in your blockade session.
Ergo, the pilot was simply the best pilot to try to go past your blockade this day.
Kudos to him.

Why are people always crying bloody murder over happenstances ?
Can't they wait to see if a novelty become a generality before screaming OP/UP ?
