EVE launcher not responding

I'm not sure if it is the right place to post this, but I dont find technical support and I can not log in to submit a ticket

Game was running perfectly before last night. When I wake up this morning and try to log in, the launcher just stop responding, even not allowing to type in my password. I tried repair several time, not workingSadSadSad

can anyone help me with?

It really would be technical support though;

Are you using a CCP or a Steam account ? If Steam check that Steam is also in 'online' mode.
If not using Steam you can also launch Eve Online via the \Eve Online\bin\exefile.exe temporarily while troubleshooting your launcher issues.

A temporarily failure to connect to the CCP servers (located in London) might also adversely affect your launcher as certain parts of the launcher are pulled directly from the servers.

If all else fails, re-install the client but only if you are sure you tried everything else.

Same here... before dt it worked after dt ´launcher.exe is not responding´.

and I'm on a mac. Launcher locks up each time.

I can run the game directly using exefile.exe from EVE/bin file (without running the launcher)

at least I can play now, hope this helps

QUICK FIX : run eve from exefile.exe ... it will fix your launcher

had the same issue this morning . this fixed it nicely

Maybe you didn't treat it properly last night and now it's pissed at you. That's what you get for treating it just like an on/off machine to serve your pleasures!

Oh yeah exefile.exe worked for me to start it avoiding the launcher... thanks for the tip!

Starting off from exefile.exe worked like a charm. Launcher did its update and works normal now.

You can use the same EVE executable directly, it's just buried under your Steam apps install.

Look for: "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\eve online\bin\ExeFile.exe"

So unless i missed it there is still no workaround for Steam users?

I know if a close steam the launcher works fine but then I cant log in........

Look up one. ^^ :)

I've used this workaround for a couple of years now because Steam just became an annoyance. Marketing became unbearable and the code became unstable. Wait... did CCP hire someone from there?

Looks like i get a standard login for non steam accounts when I do that. You got it to work?
