Unable to access remote info-file.
Remote Info-file could not be fetched.

Please check your internet-connection.
If the problem persists, please contact Customer Support by filing a petition.

My internet connection is fine... Or at least it seems that way to me. Anyone else have this problem? If so, did you fix it? (Blah blah blah, you know how this goes, just tell me how to fix it, of if it's unfixable...)

I am unable to play the game, and the status bar for the game shows empty... No orange anything, and no percentage, or download information.

I have the same problem. With the same unable to access remote info-file.

I have redown loaded the game, done repair, so what now? I have a ticket in and have yet to hear back. Hope I do soon.

Further, it lets me log in, but will not allow me to play. Skills training is now empty. EveMon connects fine.

As has been noted in other threads with MBPs, did you check your security settings? If you installed an AV to monitor either your VM or BootCamp Windows or Wine etc.

Its completely possible you are getting blocked by security settings in either browser or apple related AV. EVEMON isn't connecting to eve, its fetching READ ONLY data, not executables. OSX may be blocking file modifications.

I'm having the same "cannot find file" problem today. I'm not using a MBP, nor have I changed any settings from yesterday when I logged in to each of my accounts on the same machine.

Navigating there by browser works, giving the information: BUILD:681196, 681196, 2014.01.07

Well, it worked the day after I first experienced this, but hasn't worked since then. Going to the page in a browser doesn't load and gives a timeout error. I've been playing through the actual game inside the launcher file, so it's not a huge problem until the next patch/update... So it's a big problem lol.

Never mind, it seems to have fixed itself again, and has been stable for about 2 days now. Hope that doesn't happen again, and I suspect it's a problem with my connection, since I've been having problems with random webpages, such as Imgur only loading some images. Thanks anyway.

And once again it has stopped working, and now I can't even run it through the game file because the game is out of date... I guess I'll have to wait until it fixes itself again, whenever that may be.

Turns out I can't even access the main Eve website: http://www.eveonline.com/

I even tried through a proxy and nothing worked.

It was 100% my network... After a few days it eventually fixed itself again. Sorry for not updating earlier.

It was an European Routing problem had the same Issue that day! Used an VPN with UK / US IP and worked then like a charm back with the regular Provider IP stuck again..

Dunno, I mean, I live in Canada soooo... Probably just a local problem with my ISP or something going haywire since I was able to get on another network and update from there... I also couldn't access the character portrait server at the time though, since when I did get get on the game, none of the portraits updated. It's all over now though, everything is back to normal. I won't be posting on this thread any more though, since it's thread necro. Lock plox?
