I'm going to ignore the ad hominems and bullshit in that post and go straight back to the issue. The context is irrelevant, it's still wrong. Doesn't matter that you do not agree with the OP, as it happens I don't agree with them either, but that doesn't mean that CCP's customers opinions are irrelevant. Do you think they thought that during Incarnageddon? Do you think they thought that when they created the CSM?

Other then the fact that the players on these very forums have made cajolled, raged and made logical arguments that lead to CCP reversing decisions in the past; you are 100% correct Roll

Albeit the examples are primarily from forum decisions and small in game changes.

To not be totally off topic. Allowing you to transfer at will, even with the 100% paper trail, is exactly what CCP does not want. Say one of your 3 accounts has a scammer on it and you all of a sudden want to get one of the other non-scammer alts, on that same account, into a corp for a heist. You being allowed to switch that known scammer instantly, wtih abosolutely zero cost, is the exact immersion breaker CCP is talking about.

500k actually is too expensive for a standard ferrari. They're more in the 200k range.

How is this milking you? How often are you transferring characters that you feel "milked?" What other game does free character transfers outside an impending server merge? You are asking for a service outside normal gameplay mechanics, what is wrong with the company asking for a nominal fee?

2 months subscription is nominal?
Because the feature is less used mean it should be charged at a higher rate?

Your right, other companies do charge, they also have 10 characters per account.

EVE is special. We all love EVE and I'm not attacking EVE, I'm suggesting an improvement.
EVE is 10 years old and with some things over looked and/or improved (multiple character training to name one) i think this should be suggested.

I think you may have missed my contribution as it was trumped by my comments towards the newest local GD troll. Your ideas are not going to be introduced; ever.


EDIT: and your other ideas cut into the profit margin so they are negatives to anyone who are running a for profit business. You can have alts, enjoy that luxury for what it is and don't ask for more.

I'm a little lost on your scammer non-scammer situation.
How does this change of cost or change in number of characters per account make it possible where its currently not.
Beside being able to log into both characters at the same time. have 2 characters training on the same account is no different then have 2 accounts and 1 character on each training.

In the EVE universe. each character is their own entity and unaffected by the alt characters on the same account.
