Can't download the patch....launcher still freeze

Hi there,

i cant update my client....the launcher freeze after some time of trying downloading the client.

With an other method i get the following error:

There was an unexpected error while retrieving update status:

Unable to download file /590158/evepremiumpatch590158-mac.tgz from the server.
Error: url //cdn1.eveonline.com/590158/evepremiumpatch590158-mac.tgz not found


Do you want to go to support page?


Would be nice if anyone could help;)

I had the same issue.

I had to clear this folder /Applications/EVE Online.app/Contents/Resources/cache

Then I've run the EVE Launcher again and now it's patching.

EDIT : Client successfully patched

Have this issue as well but cant find that cache folder, what directory is it in?

Just go onto your finder, go on applications, right click EVE Online then view contents, then keep clicking until you hit resources and throw the Cache into the trash Blink
