a quick question about MJD's...

Would anyone know if the Jump Drive Operation skill has any effect on the Micro Jump Drive module?

(if not, might it for future expansions?)

It doesn't have any effect. They are completely different so I doubt any cross-over will happen in the future.

MJD is a Battleship size propulsion module, whilst Jump Drive Operation is the skill that allows capital ships to use their jump drives to move to another system (as they can not use stargates).

It has no effect, and in all likelihood will never have any effect at all.

MJD is another example of CCP overloading their terms to name several completely different things. MJDs have nothing at all to do with jump drives, just like MWDs have nothing in common with warping.

We will probably see a name change in the future to make things more clear, as they have been changing so many other names, for skills, modules, etc..
