I know generally you should not remap early on since most skills don't take long to train, relatively speaking. But I know what I am looking to do for the next few months. I want to train my ships (Caldari missiles) to Mastery V, through Battlecruiser and probably Battleship. I may through an industry or social skill in from time to time if I need it, but mainly looking to get my ships built up. I can already have industry at V so I can strip mine for ISK.

So should I remap since I know what I want? And if so into what?

Thanks.

Do you use eveboard?
It would help people see what you might need, before you commit.

The basic idea though, is make sure you have decent support skills before you do a hardline remap. Also, you will still have 2 maps left. Right?

No, I have not used Eveboard. I currently have my initial 2 remaps and will get one in November I think (my one year).

You should, so people can give you a reasonable answer to your question.

Thanks for the link. I think you will like Eveboard very much over the years.
In case you don't know, EveMon is the OTHER #1 app you will use. Helps with plans and out-of-game character reviews.

As for suggestions:
Get Cybernetics to IV fairly soon. It will let you install higher quality learning implants. Speed up your training times.
Infomorph psychology will let you make more clones. With multiple clones, you don't have to destroy your previous implants, just upgrade into the next clone.

I would put some more time into drones with the map you currently have.
Get the x1 skills to V
Purchase the skills;
Drone Interfacing
Drone Sharpshooting
Electronic Drone Interfacing
Gallente Drone Specialization
Your goal is T2 drones, and Gallente/Hobgoblins are a great all-around drone.

A little more targeting skills

T2 Invuln field is essential to shield fits. Do the skills that will open that up for you.

Your current map is kind of odd. Tau (the other poster in this thread) has a mixed map that he recommends for 1st year players, because they generally need so many skills. His guide is a good approach, with sound reasoning behind it, though I do not have a link for it at this time Cry
Your doing good so far btw, but I can see why you might want to remap soon.
I would encourage you to try and stay focused! On a ship, hull size, race, etc. Don't buy lots of random skills *just because*.
In my experience, you want to be good at 1 thing, not half-assed at many things. That said...it may take awhile for you to know what exactly that *1 thing* is.

Edit here:
Did your first 'Like'
And, congrats that your first million SP category is in a weapons system. It's a good sign your on the right track.

It is seriously hard not to find my remap posts Blink

I think this is the current entrance to the rabbit hole: A few remapping questions

Thanks for the help. I used evemon to plan out my skills and remappe according to those suggestions. I have one more bonus if needed but am good for at least 8 months or so. And am using my LP to get implants.
