CSM January Summit Dates and Attendees

Greetings SpaceFans,

It is the moment you have all been waiting for, the details for the January CSM Summit. For those of you not "in the know" the second CSM8 Summit will be held from January 22nd - 24th. As many of you will know this is the continuation of our 2+5 test run for summit attendance, and as a result you will not see many returning names from last summit. This is not a negative reflection on anyone who attended the previous summit, but a testament to the vastly improved performance of CSM8 in terms of active and contributing members.

The following list, in no particular order, is a combination of the CSM's votes, the areas of gameplay that they generally represent, the features coming in Winter, and input from the development teams. A lot of weight was given to those who had not yet been given a chance to attend a summit.

Finally, here is the list:

As always, any CSM not on that list is welcome, and encouraged, to attend the summit sessions digitally and all sessions will be recorded and shared for those CSM's who cannot attend.

I'm setting up a paypal account so people can fund my new winter wardrobe. I literally do not possess the clothes for winter in Iceland.

Even right now during the United States record low temperatures, it's not even below freezing at 6 in the morning where I live.

As leader of one of the more prominent alliances in the game I would think that some of your in game military awareness and prowess would transfer over just a tiny weee bit to rl and have somewhat of an emergency contingent plan in case of a rl emergency. You may have to go north (colder region) to escape some bad bad **** some day. Welp, there's always the Habitat for Humanity clothes store ;)

Icelandic heating is actually pretty sweet. Indoors is always warm, must be all that free geothermal energy. You'll only need a decent coat for the dash between hotel and CCP/bars.

Just remember, sidewalks in Iceland are hard. ;)

Taking bets for:

- PGL FCing the aeroplane while shouting at control tower for boosts.
- PGL playing "just the tip" with the Icelandic government and wins.
- PGL oversleeping more than one meeting.
