Game does not come to the front when launched, only works when external monitor is plugged in.

As the title says, whenever I try to launch the game from the client it launches, I can hear the music in the background, but the game does appear. I can see the icon for it as well but it just wont come up. My Mac also gets terribly laggy for some reason and I then have to Force Quit it from the activity monitor. This is all fixed once I plug my external monitor in. The game launches perfectly and it's as smooth butter. I have attempted to reset all of the settings in the launcher as well as switch the resolution in game (when plugged into my external monitor) to the resolution of my MBPr's resolution, but nothing worked.

I am using a Macbook Pro Retina 15 inch -
Software: OS X 10.9.1 (13B42)
Processor: 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory : 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB

Can I get a little help? :(

Bump. Same issue for me. When I use "Mission Control" (F3 on MacBook Pro) I can see the EVE Online app there however it is 'invisible'.

I can hear all the sound and everything.

Would like a solution!

I'm having this issue too.

Runs great when the external display is plugged in - but if I try to launch it without the display I can hear the audio, but get no visuals.

I've tried a few different things such as switching to windowed mode and then unplugging the external display, whilst the game is running, which works up until you quit and restart.

I've also tried deleting app settings to no avail - would love to see a fix, or workaround for this

My specs are as follows:

Retina MacBook Pro 15" Late 2013
OX X 10.9.1 (13B3116)
2.6GHz Core i7
16GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048MB

I ran into this issue as well. I was able to work around it by changing the resolution on my rMBP's built in display to "Best (Retina)" instead of one of the scaled options. This is not perfect, but at least it let me play on my laptop without having to have an external display hooked up.

I am having the same problem.
For month now... Seems like CCP doesn't really care about Macusers.

Console says:
