A single player being able to disband an alliance is illogical; got a solution.

Why should we deny the spies their content?

They work long and hard for their reward.

Last thread was closed as they called it a rant. This will be straight forward.

In it's current state a single player with director roles in the executor corp can disband an alliance. An alliance however is many times intended for sharing power and wealth amongst members evenly.

...

Cooperatives containing thousands of members should not be at the whims of individuals. Please change this CCP.

Why not? If you grant people powers and controls they don't need or deserve, you get what you deserve.

I've been in my corp for two and a half years (longer if you count when we were an alliance). The only role I have is access to the usually-empty corp fuel hanger. And you know what, I don't need more than that. Sure, I've been in the corp a long time, hopefully earned trust, and have no desire to ever screw my corpmates, but I would be convinced my CEO had gone insane if he just took my word for it, and gave me all sorts of powers I didn't need. Sure, I know I wouldn't abuse that, but I'd be worrying that someone else who could be less-trustworthy was getting the same accesses. I'm glad my CEO isn't handing out roles left right and centre to potential spies, since it means we should be here a further two and a half years from now.

well as non alliance member i have to admit that this oneman-disband is just stupid :)

At least there should be an options for alliances like for disbanding an alliance you need more than one person. You know, like executive... There is a CEO and 2-5 executive officers. To set new taxes you need at least 2/5 votes, to disband an alliance you need at least 3/5 votes etc... and all those rules (how many executive officers, how many votes needed, or no exec officers, just CEO etc) could be set by alliance itself... for such a change you would need all votes.

Get over it and be careful who is given power in the Alliance.
How careful is careful? There are people who spend a year earning people's trust to get high enough for heists. Most of the disbanding I've seen is someone who, perhaps without any other's knowledge, became disgruntled and pushed the button. So by your instruction, NO ONE should EVER be given that power, maybe even the CEO himself!

The current mechanism is part of EvE history and shouldn't be changed. Having these mechanisms is a constant reminder to be careful about the way you play - trust no-one, not even yourself.
And so by that outlook, nullsec sovereignty mechanics should never have been changed or be changed again as people are begging for. The doomsday AOE should've never been changed. Bounty system should've never been changed. POS design and management should never be changed. I could go on but I'm pretty sure you get the point. As Infinity Zionna said,

Broken is broken, because the devs ignore broken mechanics for years doesn't mean they shouldn't be fixed.
Personally, I'm just for a timer. Forget the whole democratic thing. If the timer is for perhaps ?3 days? and no other director or the alliance CEO logs in during that time to cancel the timer, then poof! We already have 24 hour wait timers to leave a corp if we have roles, make it similar. Plus we all know CCP loves timers.
