This. I don't care what fleet you have, panic is the number 1 killer in w-space. Simply taking the time to think about what you would do BEFOREHAND is a huge step in the right direction. Even if you end up on the losing side, a well thought-out strategy will likely result in a memorable fight for all involved and that is a win no matter how you look at it. Big smile

First off. Anyone who knows what the **** there doing isn't going to "gank" you if they don't think they can smear your a** all the way back to k-space. They're going to **** you so hard and so fast you wont even see it coming. If they did it right you be all like, "Ah dam bro im killing the **** out of this sleeper!", (server tik) ....."why iz i in amarr....?"

For my money I'd go with a gank fit carrier.

It's 1500 DPS or more in sentry damage.
Drone mod like crazy and sub cap fleets can implode.

This is pretty much the one and only way Caldari carriers are of use.

It's power comes from 3 drone navs and 3 drone omni's with pure dps/damage control.
Max drone dps in the highs and a single rig for extra drone range.

Pop the smallest ships / logi first and work your way up like your in a drone L4 ship.

Be ready to switch targets if you can't break a target due to rep and you can get them off their plan.

Fit semi cheap and any more than 2 is a waste. They won't hold up v.s. full cap fleet/logi group.

Oh god..
Let me know when you want to try that tactic with a carrier, I'm happy to help you test it out Roll.

It will as long as you dreads and lokis are not flown by team trisomie 21.

If you cant dread blap T3s with that many dreads and lokis chances are good even highsec belt ratting will get you killed constantly.

I will Literally come back to wormholes right now if you find a way to win that fight lol.. T3s Wont do anything.. Esp when you have that much triage on field and that many webs.. There is a reason you dont see the big wormhole corps getting jumped while running sites...

It wont work

First: Only idiots run escalations without some form of security. Basic intelligence says 'crit the static, close wandering holes.'
Second: Fifteen dreads and ten Lokis? Even if the all the dreads were in a ball, with everyone favoring the Moros and Swaglfar, SOMEONE is going to be in optimal, and that 40 man blob is going to have a bad time.

Can you hear them? They are calling to us. It is beautiful. http://thegreattichim.wordpress.com/

Honestly the counters tend to be:

1) More ships

2) Don't run sites when the connecting holes aren't crit, and pay attention to new incoming holes and crit them before continuing.

3) If you have a carrier be sure to have your pvp fits available in it, then refit to pvp fits when jumped.
