No, there are other cheaper options in the BS range, the Kronos is simply the best Megathron hull for solo work.

to be fair , the main example was a Rohk, even less of a solo ship and a much worse example of the class.

I'm still not sure, how do we know the developers didn't intend the Rokh to be a solo pvp ship?

Strawman. I didn't say the mega was not a solo pvp ship. I said it was both a solo pvp ship and a small gang pvp ship which in late years has gone from good at solo pvp to poor at solo pvp.

As for my Rokh example, that was in a response to someone who introduced the Rokh into the thread saying it was sufficient, my response was to that. I never introduced the Rokh into the thread.

As for the solo battleship challenge. Firstly I only fly solo and that and small gang pvp is what I consider valid PvP, the rest (blobs, ganks, capitals) is just rubbish and requires no skill or effort other than to turn up and follow simon says style.

Addtional to the solo issue is that many people in this thread continue to spread falsehoods about the capability of battleships, some stating that its my "using them wrong" which gives me the impression that they're broken. In response my challenge was laid down so that they can show me how to 'use them right'.

The fact they refuse to take up the offer is pretty telling - IE they're full of shite.

You must be new? Functionally the Rokh is less of a fleet ship then many other battleships (Geddon, Apoc, Dominix, Megathron). Also the developers have put some pretty ridiculous things in their In Game Ship Descriptions.

But most importantly, the Rokh was an expansion ship introduced long after the original battleships.

Well apparently according to the people in this thread, I'm an awful pvp'r, I'm not great tbh but never said I was.

So since I'm awful and these guys are self proclaimed great pvp'rs I figured I'll look at one of my best awful wars where I went solo 50 jumps into null to an alliances hub system and threatened to kill them unless they let me dock in one of their outposts. In that war I got 22 kills before getting hot dropped. That was in a 'according to the forum warriors here' a '**** fit XLASB Proteus'. I then returned in a standard armor Proteus and got a further 11 kills before getting ganked.

Given the aforementioned warriors think that battleships are fantastic as they are, I imagine they could show me how to use these battleships and so, being a fair person, I decided they should easily be able to do similar to what I did and get at least 1/4 the kills I got. So 5 instead of 22 I think is quite fair.. Dont you?

I offered to run your gauntlet with the modification of going through wormholes instead (which would get you more of that "Solo" pvp that you declare to be the only viable pvp{okay you did also say small group as well}) still no reply from you you just ignore the fact that someone is willing to take the challenge.

I think you just dont even read posts other than to give them a base scan and pick up on buzzwords, and then find what to say to further your arguments.

Oh, Do go on... no seriously ive got nothing better to do then listen to all the petty arguments and feeble trolling attempts...

An offer is only an offer until its counter-offered. Once an offer is counter-offered the original offer if no longer a valid offer. I rejected your counter offer because it was unreasonable and would not prove or disprove anything given you were demanding a Marauder which is not a T1 Battleship.

There is no such thing as a t1 BS anymore, thats the whole point of teircide. They are all BS and in you original demad you said to me to go solo in a mega. So I asked you to provide the best mega hull for the job.

Why would I fly a fleet focused ship over one that is much better suited for solo work?

If I am going to do a job then I will pick the correct tool for the job.
