Does the Caldari Crane prevent Customs from scanning the cargo hold and finding illicit substances?

Mission loot sometimes contains boosters, and if you try to fly through a gate with these boosters in your cargo hold, the authorities will confiscate them and fine you.

The Crane's cargo hold is unscannable by other players; does it also prevent the authorities from seeing what you're carrying?

If so, I might finally be able to get these things to market...




I accidentally my ship, is that bad?

This has been asked in many different iterations and I have not seen anyone who actually knows post the answer, most likely if it does work, they don't post because they know it will kill their margins on drugs if it becomes common knowledge. Why don't you try it out yourself and report back.
