FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Gradient to leave Electus Matari

Republic Security Services Assembly Plant, Kulheim, Pator, Minmatar Republic; 116.01.05

This is to confirm the rumors that Gradient corporation has announced to alliance Electus Matari the corporation's intent to leave the alliance for the time being. The split is to happen in about two weeks, practicalities allowing.

We leave in good relations and it is not out of the question that we will return in foreseeable future. The reasons for leaving relate to Gradient's internal issues and development of the corporation. During its history, Gradient has been in and out of alliances, coalitions, and Militias as we have seen best benefits us as servants of the Minmatar Republic. This split is simply an additional step on that path of tradition.

Upon leaving the alliance, Gradient will adopt Electus Matari's current red list, which can be found here, without further notice. We will renegotiate all blues, a process which will take several weeks. As we are NRDS, this should not cause significant problems for any current blues. We encourage allies to contact us about standings if more haste is necessary for example for business or to avoid friendly fire.

Gradient is one of the oldest independent capsuleer corporations still operating in space. We are oath-sworn to the service of the Minmatar Republic. Electus Matari is an alliance in service of the Minmatar Republic.

This Is just to say I apologise for opening my thread on this issue.

I may have been right on the main topic in the end but it was wrong of me to speculate and comment publicly on a GRD and EM issue.

A truly saddening turn of events, nevertheless on behalf of SYNE I wish GRD a bright future.

On a second note, SYNE will retain it's current diplomatic status with EM, and we would warmly welcome opening of diplomatic contact with GRD, regardless of whether they join/form a new alliance.

Gradient does not at this point intend to join an alliance.

A difficult choice at times to leave and venture further on your own. The services of 7SSAR have been available to Gradient while in EM and will remain available to Gradient when they leave the alliance, as will the blue standings currently active with EM.

I wish Gradient and all it's members all the best.

Are Gradient's manufacturing services to be temporarily suspended during the transition? Is there to be a delay on order delivery or increase in costs?

Apologies but the original announcement did not contain any information on Gradient's services.

Gradient production should be unaffected by the change.

There will be no suspension of manufacturing services or delivery, nor will there be an increase in cost.

If anything, look for an increase in industrial capacity in the coming months.

All Gradient operations continue normally.

We are currently prioritizing the transfer of red settings so that we will have stuff to shoot at upon leaving. Blue standings will be transferred after and we will send an explicit contact to each blue when this happens. I encourage current blues of EM to inform me directly via evemail if corporation-specific blue standing has been set, so that any periods of non-mutual blue standings can be minimized. This is especially helpful if you wish to have ally pricing in the Gradient shop, or if your pilots regularly fly with any sort of criminal flags.

Will Gradient continue to follow the current EM policy regarding the status of Shakor and the tribal council?

I am not certain which policy you have in mind here, Admiral Blake. Gradient has always been and will remain loyal to the Minmatar Republic. We are not, as a corporation, supporters or loyal to any individual leader beyond the loyalty that his/her position requires.

If this does not answer your question, I ask you kindly to rephrase it.

Best of luck to a corporation which has done amazing things in the Minmatar community. Fly free, pilots of Gradient.

I am also a human, straggling between the present world... and our future. I am a regulator, a coordinator, one who is meant to guide the way.

Gradient will continue to support the rule of the Tribal Council; it will continue to respect the guidance of the Sanmatar; it will continue to implement the laws of the Republic Parliament.

Our loyalties have not changed.

He probably wants to know if they'll keep killing PIE.

My guess? Yeah.
