I feel sorry for CCP, they try to have a bit of fun and still get all this rage from highsec dwellers.

As far as actually fighting in a fleet though. *shakes his head* no logi

There were at least 3 Guardians on the grid of theirs; I had ECM on them a good amount of the time. They managed to do quite well with them though.

Missed those, still, that isn't very many logi for their fleet size is it? I thought CCP had around 100, or is my number too high?

I think we started with 8 guardians and did quite will for a while but of course we all died in the end Bear Number of guardians was limited though since we only used folks who knew what they are doing in a logi (for the most part).

Yep. It started off well. Then the jams started going wild, and capacitor issues soon followed. That crumbled the logistics team.

Just a random dude in Team Security.

Seems like a fun event, too bad couldn't make it.

Next time you might wanna educate the less experienced devs on fitting though.
4 plates on a mach, nanobot rigs and that whole fetish with navy apocs (why not use the navy geddon if you want a faction bs for armor bs fleet)

Just sayin', you might have more success = more fun.

Im not a high sec dweller and i think this event was Bull. As do most of the people Im talking too about it right now.

Sit around tama till you get hot-dropped by large alliance and give them more wealth is crap PR. If it wasn't for that LOOT this event could have been brushed off as just fun.

But the loot makes it a slap in the face to those the could not participate.

Its down right insulting. Basically a rigged lottery where the winners were already picked even though everyone has a ticket.

Those of us bourgeois understand that you null dwellers are in need of targets and good loot once in a while since we are too smart to feed our ships to your bubble camps. I am glad to see CCP showing some charity to start off the holiday season.

I missed the event because after the emergency d/t my client now crashes every time I start it. Shocked I was excited even got my Phantasm ready for pvp and ready to be lost..unfortunately due to technical problems I couldn't do it. I do hope CCP does it again soon.

/begin rant

To everyone whining that this was one sided, the big alliance do not own all of null sec. Also going into null sec does not equal death. You can bring your high sec pvp frig fleet and kill as much as possible before your fleet dies (or not). Plus NPC Null is 100x better than empire anyway. Null sec is different and you whiners should learn more how to survive and less whining on the reasons why you THINK you cannot. Goons, Test, Pandameic Legion, White Noise etc. all started as small alliances. Just because they own a monopoly on it doesn't mean you cannot attempt to take it away. Point is dare to dream big, gather enough balls to win or lose big, and stop the whining. All this whining is what is breaking EVE. Empire maybe the land of carealot with welfare and whatnot, it doesn't mean you need to try and make null sec the same.

/end rant

Hopefully CCP does this again after Crucible is launched and stable enough. I think it will be fun to kill some dev's then fight test goons and all them in the same fleet afterwards..It sounds like epic fun.

Are you a miner/mission runner that is tired of being ganked? Do you want to play EVE and never PVP, but you have a list of players that is stopping you from doing that? Don't QQ pay someone to do your PEW PEW for you. Now offering reasonable rates. EVE mail me for more details.

That was great fun and I hope everyone who showed up had fun as well. We had a mix of experienced players, less experienced ones, and some pretty rusty ones on the dev fleet but with some nice FC-ing we managed to do ok up until the point we got horribly slaughtered.

It was an honor 07

In all honesty;

Has this little "training exercise" turned out into what you guys where hoping it to be? Or planned it to be even?

I would have expected a roam through high sec to avoid the issues of being hot dropped but seeing as you stayed in one place and low sec for that matter...i must ask: Was it what you wanted it to be?

For this event? Yes. For the most part we got what we wanted I think :). We wanted to get a good number of devs online to experience the thrill of the fray together against a greater number of players. We wanted to get players excited about this, we wanted to "leave some bloody noses" (to quote Navigator's mail to the participants) so the our honored adversaries would know they´d been in a fight, and then we wanted to fight to the last man and let the brave reap the spoils.

As a Community Developer I feel an event like this embodies a lot of what I want to achieve. Get players and devs mentally connected and appreciative of each other's hard work and dedication.

P.s. Has anyone seen my corpse? I seem to have misplaced it.

Very cool to see ~CCP~ getting a little more interactive on the TQ cluster. Would have been really nice to see a counter hot drop though as this could have been foreseen. Bear

Thats a steaming load.

If that was the case there was no need for the loot.

The loot made it complete crap and an insult to all other players the couldnt participate or are have nothing in that area to participate with.

This was a sick Joke.
