If I were to say, hire people in dogecoins to run missions for me on their account and then give me the isk they obtain from the missions would this technically be within the TOS? It doesnt modify the game in any way, I dont feel like even logging on to eve except to change a skill and train it up.

They are not using my account, but just merely sending the isk bounties of the mission to me while keeping the salvage and loot recieved from the rats in the mission. I am not playing eve in any way shape or form while they are playing eve. Thus not being "bot like".

Moreover, what about purchasing PLEX from people for CC instead of in-game currency. Afterall, all that it would look like to CCP would be a 0isk trade of a plex to me and visaversa to either receive or to send cryptocurrency.

I also recommend CCP get in on this and add an option for payment with a public address of their own if they so desire to tap into this growing standard of fund transfer.

Does not matter if it is $, cryptocurrency or sheep. It's RMT and not allowed per EULA

Why would you not just run the mission yourself? Much more satisfying to get the ISK yourself than to have someone else do it for you. And there is no risk of getting banned when you do it yourself. Unless you are stupid and bot... then you deserve to be banned.

And on the subject of the sheep, you stay away from the one with the black face! She is MINE!

This again?

At this stage, I'm gonna have to call this one a troll.

Growing standard of funds transfer? There is so much wrong with that sentence I don't even know where to start.

nope, can no longer rent out nullsec systems you dont own, against the EULA, under "impersonation". cannot "impersonate" a member of CCP, another player, or represent a player entity you arent actually part of, hell, you cant even impersonate your own alt.

Lawyers and courts really don't care which route you took to get there. If you end up with more money in your pocket than you had before, you are guilty of exactly the same thing as if you had accepted cash directly.

Also, discussing RMT is not only a no-no it's also a bannable offense. IBTL.

I thought it was pretty clear. Are bitcoins/dogecoins/cryptocurrency "in-game services or items"? No, they are not, same as dollars, pounds, yen, or pizzas are not. Therefore trading in-game items for them is RMT.

If you would like an official response from the CCP GM team (not just a humble ISD's opinion/interpretation), I recommend you file a support ticket about it.
