I'm tired, I'm old , I've been working too long. You would think with all the tax we pay that they would have better treatment in old age. I don't need as much as I used to but some steady income for retirement would be nice. Even a small ship medical plan for when our ships fall ill. Maybe something for the people that are below a certain poverty line. Maybe those Christmas boys could work on a soup kitchen. ANybody know what I mean?

I think I can safely say no.

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

You should have planned for your retirement, depending on a social support system always ends up badly....

Technically, you don't get old in Eve with the clone jumping, the pod kills and so on.

Goonwaffe has social security in the form of golden showers on newbies and SRP and it's pretty great.

Another one who thinks that the stargates pay for themselves. That CONCORD works for free. That all the stations magically appeared out of thin air. Your taxes merely go to cover all of those expenses, they barely cover the interest on the initial investments made by the 4 empires. Be grateful they are low enough to still permit trade and profit.

But certainly there was no promise of a pension. Your "retirement fund" is, and always was, entirely up to you. However one of the benefits of advanced age is that you should be wise enough and skilled enough to make money quickly now - if only you remembered what you wanted it for...

You could always retire at that wonderful resort known as WoW......

Im sure they'd welcome you back.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?
