150mm T2 Light AC BPO Auction

I've decided after many years to sell my T2 light AC 150 mm BPO. I won this through the BPO lottery a few years back on another character, and I've had my fun with it, so I'd like to sell it if the price is right to reduce my number of accounts and give someone else some fun.

A recent auction of one of these went for 77B isk, and they will only increase in value as their ownership gets consolidated by corporations.

Starting bid is 35B, increments of 1B. Buyout 100B, if you know anyone that insanely isk-rich. Auction will conclude two weeks from time of posting. One hour sniper rules in effect. I reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone. Anyone that doesn't fulfill their contract, I will have the right to sell to next higher bidder at winning bid, less than winning bid, or not at all.

- item is a few jumps from Jita in safe space
- item has had PE, but not ME research (doesn't take much to make, so I didn't see the value in ME research versus PE)
- item is "cooking" atm so it will not be available for about 14 days

This module can be found on many interceptors and sometimes even destroyers, so you will commonly sell between 3-7 guns at a time. It's not uncommon to sell in batches of 100 either ... It's damn near EVE's version of a "hotcake".

No in-game trades, Eve-mails, third parties or chats for separate offers. They will simply be ignored . Winner will purchase item from in-game contracts only, and only to name of character that wins in this auction.

Seems that the level of interest is surprizingly absent. If it continues it may be taken off the block.

Interest is low because buyout and your likely reserve is too high.

The 5 year production value is way under 77B.

It is a nice print.....I'll bid 37B.

While I appreciate the analysis of the ROI, as you may imagine, I'm not in business to give stuff away.

There are other reasons besides a straight ROI to purchase a T2 BPO. In fact, the vast majority that are purchased are purchased due to wanting to control the market, limit supply to enemies, etc. It's difficult to place a value on that. Contrary to popular belief firesale ROI prices aren't the only value a T2 BPO holds. Some are more valuable than others, well, just because they are more used.

The ROI you calculated is your opinion based on a fire sale price. Since I build off of it, I have a pretty good idea of what the profit potential is. Even at those prices the minimum worth of the BPO is around 38B alone on a 4 yr payback . An astute seller will do even better than that. So while I appreciate the gesture of 37B, I'll pass on the offer for now.

At this time all bids are considered null and void.
