So, quick rundown of the event;

CCP arrive in Tama, gets one or 2 killed reasonably quick, gets their act together and starts BBQ'ing uncoordinated people.
Alliances start to turn up, PL jumps in Titans and Supercarriers, Nothern coalition brings a small baddon fleet and some assorted others bring roaming gangs. Lag ensues,CCP loses 10-12 ships after being hotdropped. Tactical retreat.

Eve-kill still updating apparantly.

I still find nanobot accelerators on the navy apocs to be quite fail seeing as they don't have any reps and are buffer fitted.....

CCP, I'm not sure if you care about ~serious responses~ because I'm not sure if this was supposed to be serious or not P Obviously you wanted people to have fun, but you also said it was a "training exercise".

From the point of view of a training exercise, I'm glad you guys are are out roaming and playing the game with the players. That's awesome, epic like I've never seen. I hope you're trying to get a serious view from the players perspective, what dealing with the overview looks like, what dealing with the bracket lag is like. How it feels to actually be in a fleet fight. i.e. while I hope you guys are playing your own game for fun, I hope you're trying to take something away from this.

As far as actually fighting in a fleet though. *shakes his head* no logi, multiple tank types, active and passive tanks mixed in. Not very "realistic" from a training exercise perspective (if you were even headed in that direction). Not to mention the unrealistic ship fits, T2 trimarks worth 5x the cost of even the faction ship hull? Now, from the perspective of having fun, I don't really mind the uber setups, and setting a limit of T1 or T2 items (no faction/etc), I don't really have a problem with it. It makes it more fun for the players to kill a 5b isk ship. But your fleet composition needs a lot of work P

From the point of view of just having fun, interacting with the players. GREAT SUCCESS! I wish I would have logged on a half hour earlier. I got on just in time to see the PL titans :) and I was a good 30 jumps out. Again, it's good to see CCP playing their game. I know there's jokes about that, and you usually come back with "we do, you just don't know who we are", but I think there's a general sentiment among the players that you don't -really- play. You might be out there experiencing some parts of the game, but it doesn't feel like you're actually involved in the large fleet fights or big alliances or the hulkageddons or the piracy. Generally the things Internal Affairs wouldn't want you participating in because it might hurt some feelings. Seeing you out getting in a big fleet fight is a welcome sight, even if your overview settings leave a lot to be desired Lol

Still looking at an updating eve-kill i've seen CCP alliance grow from 399 to 510 members in about an hour?

Other than that; 41 losses recorded, some of which are doubles.

Most of them were because the ship choice for most dictated armor. However, there were several raven navy issues and nightmares mixed in. Overall, yes, the fleet was fairly uniform, but still mixed.

PS, I hope this happens again soon so I can get into the mix :)

Oh great. Blob = win.

With freebies to boot to those that are already stocked on wealth.

Reminds me of the live events of olde.

Hopefully we can combine these two:

******* CCP Good job what was this a feeble attempt at make plex prices lower well it didnt ******* work..... But u did manage to feed PL / Goons / Test and other large alliances. ******* bunch of idiots in my mind.

Why do such a thing. You ban players for doing stupid things / Bring in Incursions so Plex Prices go sky high this game is dying and its gona die soon at the rate your going. Feed big alliances. Humm didnt you guys already do that with BoB dont go down the route again.

I'm sure the 50 or so PLEX that dropped will have a GIGANTIC impact on your market....

Also, this isn't anywhere NEAR what happened with BoB, go back and learn some history. CCP is playing their own game again, if you want the game fixed at all, let them see first hand where the problems are. Telling them not to play is only going to make things worse.

I do know my EvE history so STFU and They have A Test Server for that kinda ****... Seeding isk into the game what wasnt there is what is causing the giant inflation in the EvE market.

They are ment to be doing this again sometime soon. And i bet some CCP Fagget will but yet tip off Pl or goons/Test about it and then more isk will be put in the hands of them.
