Good afternoon

I've just downloaded the new patch, and now its directing the test server to TQ???

Do we just need to re-direct the cliant?

Thank you

Yes, just redirect it to Sisi. This is because it's a release candidate for the expansion, and as such might end up on the live server.

Add /server:87.237.38.50 to the end of a new shortcut to your singularity client

Wish my Sisi Launcher/Generic patcher worked so I could test things, sigh. But can't wait for the live release, thanks CCP.

Doesn't work anymore, AFAIK. Use /server:Singularity instead, worked for me.

Ok. Slow down for the technically challenged. I have right clicked on my existing desktop test server icon in Vista. What exactly do I change? Or do I need to open a file in the test server folder and change something on it?

I believe if you download and run the new launcher you don't have to change anything.

I would recommend you make a copy of you EVE folder first and use that to patch. Just point the launcher to that folder and your golden. I hadn't been on SISI for almost 2 yrs and had no trouble doing what I described.

Convo me tomorrow and I can walk u through it.

The following shortcut worked for me in Win7 64bit. I created / modified the existing "EVE (Test Server)" shortcut that I had.

Quote:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\Singularity\eve.exe" "/server:Singularity"

Not sure that the double quotes around the argument are needed, but it doesn't hurt.
