Very good. Thank you.

I do not rely on the WH. Instead I fit and rig my T3 for four low slots with cargo expanders, and rig with optimizers. I use the nullifier and covops subsystems. Yes, I make a T3 blockade runner to get my stuff to my selected system. With this set up I take in five GSCs and setup my ghetto base. I'll then run out all the ammo/mods/subsystems/rigs etc I need to plex/run sites. I am currently 22 jumps from the nearest high sec entrance. Yup' its a pain in the rump to set up but I am now setup for an extended stay.

I do use WHs to get stuff back to HS market. If during my travels I discover a direct WH from null to HS i'll empty my GSCs of loot. If need be I bring in my alt to haul it all. I'll use a WH that leads into a single WH system then to HS but only after carefully checking it out.

Once the ammo is gone I pack up and move out abandoning the GSCs if necessary. I like to change the scenery once and awhile. I use my intial ammo count as my trigger to move.

Truth be told I'v been considering something like this for a while, however if blown all my isk recently on exotic dancers ( I can't help myself),
Could you recommend an amarr boat? Iv no skills for t3 soo that's out, Oracle+covops maby?

Prophecy is probably the best learning boat, I'd imagine figuring out how to keep an oracle alive to be punctuated with sudden unintended explosions. Serp and angel ded 5s can be range / dps cheesed with attack BCs (usually paired), I'd be doubtful that you can do similar tricks to higher level encounters, or anything gurista where they don't much care about range, and don't take a lot of damage from oracles.

I've seen fits for missile legions that are broadly comparable in capability to a drone proteus (which can after all clear the maze), and that's a midpoint in training to a tengu from amarr.

Another Trick that comes in handy is using anomalys as a bounce when warping to a gate off scan (those pesky constellation gates).

People rarely put bubbles inline with them due to their temporary nature.

I would not worry about WHs for travel to HS if you are in a T3, now you can just carry a Mobile depo + nullifier ect and just blast straight through all but the biggest camp (I still avoid the chokes).

The big problem then becomes ammo since all of your cargo is taken up with fittings.

Cargo space really is the biggest problem, you probably want to swap offensive and propulsion subsystems between travel and combat, which also means bringing mobile depo.

2 subsystems + covert ops cloak + mobile depo is 230 m3, a T3 cruiser probably has close to 300 m3 cargo space.

Using drones solves part of the problem, but if you use a covert subsystem for traveling, you lose drone bay and need cargo space to carry the drones while the covert ops subsystem is installed, it's very likely you are going to need cargo bay extenders when traveling.

Covert ops cloak takes up 100m3 cargo space, but T3 can have the module fitted even without covert ops subsystem installed, there are situations where this can be useful. You will not be able to online the module without the covert ops subsystem, but you will be able to trade 1 high slot for 100m3 cargo space.

I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous.

This is why I find wormholes so useful. Nothing but an outpost or POS beats a wormhole to High. Thats two jumps for a blockade runner to bring GSC and as much ammo and mods you'll need for your stay. On the downside I havent been able to log in for 3 weeks and about 1 billion in ammo subsystems and mods are about to go bang due to GSC timer :)

Thank you. Very usefull. I just finished building up my first Stratios and I am going to use it exactly as described. Do you think I can run DED 8/10 or 9/10 in it? I am not going to undock it untill I have T2 drones and good cloaking skills. Anything else I need to focus on?

It wont run an 8/10 (maybe an easy one). It can do a 6/10 with some money thrown at it, but it just doesnt have the dps or tank to handle anything bigger. Remember it is still a cruiser albeit a particularly sexy one, and its just not as straight up tough as other T2/T3/faction cruisers.

I use mine to cruise around doing data/relic sites and then swapping out in a mobile depo for the occational doable fight... but then i live in null so its a bit easier Blink

i have never used the Stratios however given what I have heard they shoule be able to easily run 6 to 8/10. There is no official 9/10.

10/10s vary in difficulty with Gurista n Serps being easiest (afaik) and Bloods being tough as hell. Ill leave it up to Stratios pilots as to whether theyre soloable or not.

Your core skills, T2 weapon skills (drone or T2 DDA) and decent tanking mods is what you will need. Dont worry too much about T2 otherwise imo.

I'm not sure if the stratios has the damage needed, without giving up to much tank, only being able to bring 4 drones hurts your dps a lot.

Why are you not using the proteus?, i'm guessing you already maxed out gallente cruiser. It's has the same drone dps as the stratios, but so much more utility.

There is no official 9/10.

Fleet Staging point (all pirate races) is the 9/10 and it is official, When you get Fleet Staging point point as an escalation from a named hum or find it as a sig, when you warp to it the pop up tells you it's a DED 9/10.

FSP was once an unrated escalation chain/plex. Rather than put a real 9/10 in, CCP took FSP, changed the text of the 1st stage's pop up, made it impossible for it it end early (like how unrated plexes can fail at end point) and changed the stage 3 station/boss to always drop at least a 22nd tier OPE (when FSP was an unrated plex, it would sometimes drop nothing but tech1 items, not any more).

But yea, FSP is the official DED 9/10. It was mentioned in the patch notes of the patch where CCP added some other complexes (they counted changing FSP to a ded as an 'add' lol).
