First: I had repaired some of the broken links on this page, like the News Articles-Links and References-Links...etc. And found that some News Articles are missing?

* News: CALL TO ARMS: Yonis Ardishapur calls for Kourmonen to be retaken
* Yonis Ardishapur arrests head of Ammatar Fleet
* Ardishapur Family Criticizes Imperial Educational Standards
* Ardishapur Family to Implement Educational Overhaul

Some of the news can be found on battleclinic.com or eveger.de, but sadly not in the offical page. Any help would be great.



Second thing: I the past sorting had worked. For example this page worked fine with the class sortable. I personally think, that with the latest update (a year ago), some of the mediawiki file got deleted. Another thing: collapsible class isnt working as well, see here. This (collapsing) on the other hand never worked, so my 50 cents is that... you use some very old mediawiki version, but I can only guess. Third thing: Color change on firefox. As can be seen here. The color of the pictures use in the chart changes if you use firefox as browser.

with the old-style links such as:
http://community.eveonline.com/news.asp?a=single&nid=2526&tid=4

These are redirected to the current news page, but not to the article.

If however, you change the link to:
http://communityclassic.eveonline.com/news.asp?a=single&nid=2526&tid=4

Then it goes to the article.

This will allow you to find the news headline, and the date of publication, and use those to locate the correct location of the news article.

Call to Arms, Yonis Ardishapur calls for Kourmonen to be retaken, googling that headline, finds this link:
http://myeve.eve-online.com/news.asp?a=single&nid=2480&tid=8

Had to check several non-eve official sources to find that link.
Obviously, that link does not go to the correct place.
Changing it to:
http://communityclassic.eveonline.com/news.asp?a=single&nid=2480&tid=8

Brings up the article and the date it was published.

Looking under the current news channels, using the "eve online news" rather than the "world news" category, because not all the articles are correctly filed, we find the article is listed here:
http://community.eveonline.com/news/news-channels/eve-online-news/archive/2008/10/?page=2

This gives us the article's current address which should be:
http://community.eveonline.com/news/news-channels/eve-online-news/call-to-arms-yonis-ardishapur-calls-for-kourmonen-to-be-retaken./

However, that appears to generate a server runtime error, for whatever reason.

Other articles should be easier to locate, and that is the methodology to use.

1. When the link is to a url ending in "/news.asp?a=single&nid=", then you should change the start to say "communityclassic" , and that should find the article, and the date of publication.
2. Use the headline, and see if you can locate the article with that.
3. If not, use the date of publication, and look through the current news archives.

Many Thanks Synthetic Cultist. I have thx to you found the old news. As for the new ones.... Like the education project or Kadors party.... they are somehow missing. I couldnt find them (had search over the time line one the news section, as well as had I typ the url of the news in).... Sad


Question for CCP: Is there a reason, are they maybe not more canon? As they were not really "good-ish"... meaning the arcs were without any meat and ended rather fast.

Some recent news is available here, which includes parts of the educational reforms and Kador celebrations.

The rest of the 2013 'miscellaneous' articles are not available simply due to being lost in the website redesign. They are still canon.

This, pretty much.

The old news is all still there for the best part, in one guise or another. You just end up having to mess with URLs a little to make it visible.

It became this way when the new community portal was opened.

Right now, there simply isn't the time to re-hash it, but we're well aware it's something that needs attention at some point.

For now most of the news can be accessed as has been pointed out in this thread already Smile

Hmm, yes, the Ardishapur education thing doesn't seem to be indexed.

However, it is still on the website at:

Like I said, I had to look at several fan sites, non-CCP owned websites, to find a page that had a link to that article, then add "classic" to make the link work.

It's a bit of a chore, but you should still be able to locate the articles, with a bit more digging.

But I also know, it has most likely very low priority. So, thats why I hope you people dont mind if I go a little off topic with some Questions.


  • Race blending? It would be great to have it. Even if it cost Aurum and has to be done over the Account Management sit.
  • Books. When they come is there any time set?
  • Is there any chance, that launcher on the bottom of the Malediction gets move to the top (It looks cooler that way)?
  • Colonisation-Theme. What can we expect?
  • Is there any chance that you guys could do something like this: here. A come together. And you guys form the lore and immersion team sit around and talk about a topic. Like: Sansha and his use of wormholes, Minmatar Elders, Inspirations of other sci fi settings, etc.....Mind of Heth, Jamyl, etc....

Well, you can read what the CSM minutes have to say on that and other avatar related issues:

I worked on some pages, see here. As describe here and here, have I try to put all Information together and add soemthing now-ish. CCP can take what they like and/or delete what they like. (WIP) stands for work-in-progress, those pages arent finish, and have alot of typos and holes. (Talk page) means the article is on the talk-page. I dont know how to bump someone from the CCP, the immersion team or ISD Mercury etc.... so I hope if one drives by, that he/she updates some of the pages. As for all: Enjoy, I hope I could make a ding in the universe. I make soon-ish a small break (RL Sad), so I cant anser all the questions most likely.

My inspiration was Dutch Empire, Prussia 1701-1786, Frederick II, Ancien Régime, Mercantilism, Market town, Staple right, Ferme générale, Steuerpacht, Nobles of the Sword,Palace of Versailles, Legalism (Chinese philosophy), Lüth-Urteil, Huguenot, Junker, Sepoy, Primogeniture, and Morganatic marriage.

So, thats why I hope you people dont mind if I go a little off topic with some Questions.


  • Name change?
  • Death threat? In addition to the point above. In "A Song of Ice and Fire", you will find alot of death threats, which makes the books interesting and spices things up, without it you have alot of story telling problems (see Publius V. as example). I have in the back of my mind already some ideas to work around this point like: Having your Char hanging in a medical bay, in blue tube, and everything what he experience is form a TCMC. But a real death would be...
  • Is there any chance for a new Bhaalgorn-model? I like the current one, but also think that a Star Wars Star-destroyer with round corners aller Ashimmu would be great.
  • Is there any chance for a tech II black torp apoc by Khanid Innovation.... like a second Marauder class. One for PVE and one for PVE?
  • Can I have a Wormhole Weapon?
  • Avatar. Is there anything?
  • Old ones:

Sounds like one of those "missions" that were used to give you items for Loyalty Points before the Loyalty Point Store was introduced. These missions no longer exist.
