Is there a way to shut off the shimmery stuff in the middle of bubbles? Watching a **** caged pos hurts my eyes :(

While I'm sure this helps, you shouldn't have to make the game less pretty in order to be able to see things without going blind. That's just bad design, and the lighting effects on bubbles could definitely stand to be reworked.

And delete or improve the damn clouds while you are at it CCP. We can turn off trails, gun effects, shadows... everything BUT the ONE thing that so many video cards disagree with. Kill these clouds CCP.

Would it (mathematically) be hard to fuse the mesh of multiple bubbles client-side, and apply a single semi-transparent texture? What we see here are endless layers of transparency on top of each other, nothing more.

I am sure my eyes and the eyes of lots and lots of loyal customers will be very gratefull, euphoric even if you could fix that issue.

Pro tactic. Blind your enemy's with bright lights! They cannot attack back if they cannot see what they are doing!

Invader: Our Bubbles will blot out the sun!

Defender: Then we will fight in the Sha-AHHHHH MY EYES! I CAN'T SEE!

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.

Who even looks at the game anyway? Overview is all you need.

Done.

Loading of clouds is now controlled by the "Effects enabled" option in the system menu.

This should be released with Rubicon 1.1, if our graphics QA gives a thumbs up on my change.

Problem is that it would look strange.. you would not see the other buble border behind a bubble.

No idea if eve render is deferred and the current target buffer data can be checked by the sahder, if yes is easy to make solutions. If not.. its not so easy.

holy crap. I'm pretty sure I've seen people asking for this for years and all of a sudden...
