Low-Sec DED Hull

I'm currently training into a Tengu for PVE DED sites but have a few months to go to have it with solid support skills. I can fly most ships BC or lower. I cannot use T2 sentries (about a month away), but I could use faction sentries. This is for low-sec, non-friendly space. I'll be bringing along a mobile depot to refit between cloak/scanner and weapons so I am able to refit the ship at any point.

Can anyone recommend a good hull and fit that would allow me to solo a 4/10 or 5/10 DED complex? I ran the Sansha Occupied Mining Colony last night with a shield myrmidon and hammer 2's and it took much longer than I would have liked and I had to warp out a few times in the last room as the entire room aggroed. I may try an armor fit instead tonight with specific hardeners.

Any recommendations on fits? I want to avoid overly expensive hulls like the Mach, etc. Gila would be around the max I would like to spend - however I would prefer to keep it T1.

Thanks!

I don't have much experience running Sanshas DEDs but this fit should be able to handle 5/10s but the dps is kinda low so you'll still take quite awhile to finish a 5/10. However it should have no problems for the 4/10 and you can even drop a tanking module for another Drone Damage Amplifier.

Not enough fitting for another gun so you can put whatever fits in the utility highslot other than the probe launcher. Orbiting your sentries with the afterburner on should help to mitigate some of the Battleship damage. It's basically cap-stable (27mins with everything but the guns), however if you're running low on cap you should turn off your guns or alternatively you can use projectile turrets for capless guns but the fitting is tight for artillery and autocannons have very short range.

Edit//
Also forgot to mention that if you're planning on using sentry drones for these sites you should train for an Ishtar. A Tengu would definitely be able to do them and also has the advantage of being able to refit to a cloaky scanning fit, but having to use EM ammo would mean your dps is quite low for what you pay for. Being able to fit cloaky scanning fits is nice but not necessary, MWD + Cloak trick plus a regular probe launcher is actually very solid for staying alive in lowsec and finding sites and an Ishtar would be able to complete them quicker than a Tengu.

Ishtars are common. Gilas too, though not as much. Also common are t3s and mobile depots for a real adaptable setup.

I prefer a Stratios though. Many people think they're ****, and for direct combat, they are compared to the others. But I like having the scan probe bonus, the large cargohold, and the covops cloak all readily available without the need for a depot & refit like a t3. It's a jack-of-all-trades but it has sufficient mastery not to need the inconvenience of specialization imho.

I fly a sentry Strat. It can get into really tight orbits around the drones to keep up a healthy speed tank, is ruddy quick to align and gtfo and disappear if needed, plus with the scan probe bonus I can get combat sites down really quick. And I never worry about cargo.

If you can milk it, it's an udder.

stratios should be pretty good vs sansha, there's the other drone boats. But really I think any hac should have an easy time with a 4/10. Shield myrm was probably a bad choice.

Shield myrm is a poor choice for sansha content.

Hammerheads are terrible as 5 hammerheads only has 50 bandwidth, ie half the bandwidth is going to waste. 4 sentries is much better.

There is a lot of battleships to clear in a ded 5.
