Im running dx11 without any problems so far (Win7 x64, Radeon 7950, eyefinity). Current dx11 mode is just a test run for CCP without any graphical advantage above dx9 mode. If you have problems with that just switch back to dx9 in launcher settings.

I have a black keyboard and a monitor. DX11 also crashes for me, also, I like coffee. Twisted

I'll say it again like has been mentioned here a couple times, the DX11 implementation for EVE was they KNEW it wouldn't be working perfectly for everyone, they wanted us to beat the crap out of it before they actually added any DX11 features. Engine changes are a big deal to a code base like that.

Use DX11 for as long as you can and when you do have ANY issues at all, report them, don't just silently go back to 9, you're just slowing development D:<

I switched back to the DX9 mode because DX11 gave me frequent crashes.
CCP themselves said DX11 atm was an unstable buggy test client and if youre having any trouble you should switch back to DX9.

BUT REPORT IT DAMMIT

THEY CANT MAKE IT NOT A "unstable buggy test client" UNLESS YOU TELL THEM WHAT'S BREAKING IT

if they want me to test something, put it on the frikken test server.

also, saying.. I cant dual box without it crashing.. isnt helping them. but that is all i can figure out I am not a techhead. switched back to old 9.. and i can again use my triage carrier without it crashing and almost costing us the fight as my damnation decided to go with it

They did put it on the test server, but the testing window was too small and didn't have a large enough sample size, especially with something as fundamentally integrated as the rendering engine. They pretty much need data from every possible graphics configuration possible.

DX11 causes lockups on my win8 machine.

I gather its partially graphics card related. You seem to see more complaints from people that are using integrated graphics or a laptop with dual graphics even if it has switched to the discrete card.

Best answer ... some ppl have probs whilst other ppl are fine so try DX11 and if its a fail on your particular system switch back to DX9

Yeah, DX11 causes cancer. Listen stupid people more, great future awaits you.

Shut up you. There is no added benefit in running EVE on DX11. It just makes the client freeze up randomly and crash on alt-tabbing. At least that's what it does on my machine.

Buy a computer not a patato. No problems with eve on DX11 even in crossfire mode.

Single client is fine in DX11 but the moment I fire up a second or third client, I get clutching. Others have mentioned this in the issues thread on Rubicon and DX11.

My computer is not top of the line but it is hardly a potato, thank you very much. Intel i5 quad core 3.1Ghz, 12gb of RAM and a GTX 560 Ti, a rather similar setup to someone else who apparently has no problems wiith DX11. So no, it probably has squat to do with my specs, and something with something else. Whatever that is, your guess is good as mine.
