Well, the broadcasting system seems like it would be handy if you'd otherwise be repeating the same thing (like emptying your cargohold of ore)

And that is an example of how people could argue that ISBoxer violates Section 6A3 of the EULA.

giving newbies billions also violates some other part, i remember someone trying to get the whole cfc banned when a newbie got broadcasted about in all-all and got handed like 10 billion or something

I heard a story about a newbie who got hit hard because someone who was buying from an RMTer handed the newbie a bunch of tainted ISK. Same guy?

That would cost CCP money to police. We will say it is part of the games "harsh environment" instead. That way they can attract the sociopath demographic and save money at the same time. Win win.

I think you're right about the belt replenishment being after DT being wrong, but not because of bot'ers.

Affected players:

1) New Players
2) Players without isobox/Vec
3)Players of different time zone unable to mine after DT since ore and ice are empty within hours after DT
4) Full high sec time miners

New players don't really mine ice — the skill requirements to make it work effectively are too high.
Players without isboxer/vec are no more affected than those who do use those programs — an empty belt or anomaly is an empty belt or anomaly, and the supposed problem here is that the belts become empty.
These multibox fleets are full time miners, so the same applies here: an empty belt/anomaly is an empty belt/anomaly.

That only leaves the TZ difference (assuming it's even accurate that every belt in highsec runs out so quickly…). Well, that's pretty much to be expected from something that is intentionally designed to be a limited resource: they're meant to run out every day.

Quote:
These mining bots or whatever they wish to consider themselves who never pay physical cash but plex all their accounts, there are players who pay and are affected.
…and removing these active accounts means other players who pay are affected. It also means CCP earns less money, since PLEXed accounts are a better (if riskier) income source than a standard subscriptions.

already call it, belts DO NOT empty, hell, ive been around as alte as 3 hours before downtime, and there are STILL ice belts alive out in the 0.5-0.6 areas. but oh wait, 10-20 jumps from jita/amarr is too much to ask OP to do, huh?

also on that note, why would you mine ice? if you NEED the ice to fuel towers, its more time-efficient to just run lvl 4's and then buy the fuel, and if your making isk, your better finding a system with alot of belts and cherry-picking ore (but only jerks do that last one, almost as bad as people who leave 5-10m^3 left in the asteroid because running it an extra half-second would give them seizures)

I use ISBoxer, to run SB's not to make Isk. My only thoughts on it are you should not be able to modify the UI the way you can with it.

I think it should simply be allowed to be used to broadcast mouse clicks.

Example:

Blackscreen

Not really something the standard client allows a standard subscriber to do imo.

CCP do ban the bot spammers as they identify them. They did a huge clean up about a month ago now. But the problem is the bots require no training. So can simply spoof MAC address & IP and make a new account every time.

As botting as such is already forbidden by the EULA (part 6. Conduct), starting a petition to ban (perceived) botting programs is a bit redundant.
Thread locked.

The rules:
16. Redundant and re-posted threads will be locked.

As a courtesy to other forum users, please search to see if there is a thread already open on the topic you wish to discuss. If so, please place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter up the forums needlessly, causing good feedback and ideas to be lost. Please keep discussions regarding a topic to a single thread.

I have also removed a rule breaking post.
30. Abuse of CCP employees and ISD volunteers is prohibited.

CCP operate a zero tolerance policy on abuse of CCP employees and ISD volunteers. This includes but is not limited to personal attacks, trolling, “outing” of CCP employee or ISD volunteer player identities, and the use of any former player identities when referring to the aforementioned parties.
Our forums are designed to be a place where players and developers can exchange ideas in a polite and friendly manner for the betterment of EVE Online. Players who attack or abuse employees of CCP, or ISD volunteers, will be permanently banned from the EVE Online forums across all their accounts with no recourse, and may also be subject to action against their game accounts.
