Going below a 4 Slot Tank rarely gives you any advantage on damage, as as a fourth damage mod and a fourth range mod do not give you much benefit.

So I wonder how you managed that tank really did become an issue (besides fitting pvp mods). Maybe I should have ask more direct in the first place.

Exactly. I get 30 solo, no support, nothing. Faction spawn puts me at 34 sometimes.

Edit: there is a reason i was hesitant to post my setup, because I rarely see anyone get my numbers (with a ship that costs about 350 mil). But since greyscale has come to destroy my method. I figure I might as well spill it.

That is a cheap ship and you are only because of neuts so cap heavy, so this applies only to blood raiders. Else you could improve your tank via rigs. Better rep would improve your tank very much too. And soon your back to your old isk/hour or even more, with just a bit more shiny to your ship.

*shrugs* Give it a try.

That's exactly my point. I have been on SISI and tested a bunch of stuff out, I will be probably able to get back to my old isk/hour or close to it, but I will have to invest about 600 mil into my ship or more, complex mods aren't exactly seeded...(thank god for recent mirror)

That means this patch is a nerf. I dont think Greyscale intended this patch to be a nerf, thus my complaints.

I thought the point was to make life in 0.0 better by increasing our isk/hour via buffing the ISK:EHP ratio.

I am not asking for mass changes, I am just asking that he tones down the initial waves a bit for the lower anomalies.

Also, I did design my fit specifically for blood raiders, its the rats I am shooting, I wanted the most isk/hour. You need really good skills in order to run the setup, if you are not at all level Vs you will be neuted out.

Blood Raiders neuts are broken but my complaints on the issue are ignored, so whatever. Sometimes the neuters spawn and never cycle off their neut, ever. This happened in the July patch and I had been effectively chaining these hubs for months before that.

TL;DR - I shouldn't have to invest more into my ship to get the same isk/hour as I did prepatch on a patch designed to "buff" 0.0 anomalies. Doesn't this kind of defeat the whole purpose of this buff to begin with? *IF* I got a lot more isk/hour after investing this 600 mil then I would accept it as a buff, but right now its about equal.

First, I applaud you CCP for making the effort to make isk better in 0.0. However, you did it completely wrong.

With these changes I will effectively make less isk/hour, a lot less. With these changes I will probably be making half the isk/hour I do right now.

Please, I beg you comprehend the changes that you are doing because this is very, very bad. I am appalled that you don't grasp how some of us making our isk/hour.

For those that dont understand.

All CCP did was add more ships (BS and BCs to pump up the ISK:EHP ratio) to the anomalies, effectively making them harder to run, so you can't solo them as easily as you could.

The bounties on the ships have not changed, at all.

Simply put
You need a better tank, which means you have worse gank.

Let me reiterate that fact. You need a better tank so you have to drop damage mods, so you will be doing less DPS.

Less damage = killing a lot slower = worse isk/hour. This is *very* bad.

Right now I can make 90ish mil solo per hour. After patch, ill be lucky to hit 45-50.

Please do NOT do this. This is the wrong way to do it.

Edit: Also since anomalies will now take much longer, we will also have less faction spawns/escalations...

Good intentions ccp, terrible execution.

This is a a significant nerf. What a joke.

I guess there is always high sec incursions....

EDIT 2: for those who can't comprehend what ISK:EHP buffing actually did and that close range dps > long range dps.

*shrugs* Did you not say that the ehp/isk really got better? If you fix the tank problem you should be getting more isk per hour AND beside that you seem to be anyway with your old fit already really fine. So it could be intentional to nerf YOU and buff others doing anomalies.

Honestly I think doing less than 80 mil / hour in 0.0 with faction/complex fit ships should be never the case, as this reduce null sec in value below high sec. But that is just me.

I just tested a Serpentis Forsaken Hub, and it's definetly not the same.

Had at first something like 5 BS (Not crappy ones, 1.1M/1.2M) + 4 elite cruisers. I killed the elite cruiser, 4 BS + 4 BC spawned, I killed the BCs (There are still the first 5 battleships on the field), I tried to kill the 4 BSs from the previous spawn, couldn't because I was out of cap. Had to bail out...

I was in a T2 Machariel (XLSB T2, SBA T2, Ballistic hardener, Thermal hardener, AB, CCC rigs and all) with a full crystal set (I was in the masstest with a Maelstrom, wanted to give it a try :) ).

And I had to WARP OUT. I kinda agree on the fact that, you can't really tank with a Machariel (No bonuses, 4 slots tank...) but damn.

Then I got an escalation right away, a Fleet Staging. I did the first escalation, didn't notice anything special. I didn't continue because it was late already, and I'm pretty sure I can't tank the last room anyway.

EDIT : And it was one jump away from FD-. In Syndicate, in 0.0 (true sec, so crappy sec for anoms)

Ok, so let me understand this, they made the anoms have more ships, more battleships since they are the money maker, and your complaining. Isk/hr is not a measurement of how many anoms you do per hour, but in how many ships you kill per hour. If there are more ships per anom nothing changes for you. Oh your gank suffers, get a carrier and stop whinning. If i understood your original post that they added more ships but kept the bounties the same, this is great.

Yes, I complain about things I don't like.

More isk faucet? ouch.

Make the mobs tougher, up the amount of better drops - they take longer to do but the value increase wouldn't be "from nothing".

Net effect, it would take longer to do them but wouldn't increase "isk from nothing" in the game - such "value up" requires the market and that has sinks built into the transactions vs bounties.

Here is what you do.

This game is multiplayer.

You have a corp and an alliance.

Have friends come run them with you for better isk per hour.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Cypermethren's maths for highsec carebares whom have infinate knowledge on how 0.0 works, and for just plane stupid people.

Disclaimer for the stupid people: These are not actual numbers, these have been plucked from thin air to help explain the current situation as the OP has done the numbers for us in the 1st thread, and i realy CBF wasting any more of my time being dissapointed by logging back onto the test server and doing it again with a stopwatch to please people that like knittpicking over exhaled CO2

Pre Patch - 20mins to run a Sanctum, end profit 70mil isk
Post patch - 30mins to run a sanctum, end profit, 80mil isk.

Pre Patch - isk/hour = 210mil isk
Post Patch - isk/hour = 160mil isk

Lets pretend for a minute that we are living bots, and run anoms all day without bathroom breaks and interuptions.

Pre Patch - 23hrs of botting = 4.83 bil

Post Patch - 23hrs of botting = 3.68bil

Dictionary.com Meaning of the following words:

Nurf
In video gaming a nerf is a change to a game that reduces the desirability or effectiveness of a particular game element. The term is also used as a verb for the act of making such a change.[1][2] The opposite of nerf is buff.

Buff
The complete oposite to nurf, as sated above, sheesh

CCP's statement was that they have made changes to 0.0 anomolies to "Buff the isk/hour in relation to EHP"

When in fact, for anyone that has braincells that are free from drugs, alcohol, and stupidity, once they jump on the test server and do a comparison, they'll quickly notice that it's taking significantly longer than on the live server to make the same ammount of isk.

After further examination, they have found the reason for this is that it takes longer to finish the sites, as the above math helps explain.

So yes fanboys, clap clap yes CCP did "buff" the sites by adding more ships with nice bounties into them, but at the exact same time they turned around and took a gigantic poop on the "real person" 0.0 community.

The bots dont care, they're not people, thus wont be posting in this thread or others to QQ about the changes.

The actual people that live out in 0.0 and only get 2/3 hours a day to rat, as the rest of their time is spent defending their space suffer, as they're bringing in significantly less cash to pay for replacement ships. Again, all you highsec know-it-alls can shut up, there are, dispite contrary belief, huge chunks of space that have absolutely horrible sec status, no decent moons etc for you're alliance to be able to hand out replacement ships on a silver platter, and the player ie expected to fund themselves, which we have no problem doing.

What we do have problems with, is CCP calling a Nurf a Buff, and the fact that the closer it gets to patch day the more its becoming obvious that 90% of CCP's effort was spent, yet again, on cosmetical changes, everything else was delegated a fraction of the work time im comparison, hense we get "bandaid fixes" like the "0.0 anom buff" that are poorly thought thru, badly executed and not even tested by CCP themselves after they made the changes or they'd have picked up on the points that the OP has been trying to show you all, but is lost amongst the sea of tears from the highsec carebares and knowitalls that havent even stepped foot into 0.0 yet proceed to tell everyone exactly "how it is in 0.0".

Edit for all the trolls racing to hit reply:

This is not a post defending 0.0 mechanics or isk vs incursions vs wormholes vs highsec vs anything.

This is simply pointing out that yet again, CCP has lied to us, but this time in the form of saying they were going to "Buff" something, but instead "Nurfed" it yet again.

Perhaps their new plan to make money since the NeX failed is to force the entire 0.0 community to have to buy plex, as at most the non-botters, non-renters only get a few hrs/day to invest into doing said anomolies for cash

I don't mind earning less isk doing anomalies and ratting in 0.0, however CCP stated their intentions was to make 0.0 more attractive and swiftly made missions in empire a much better alternative than ever... Shocked

I must say however that the biggest anomalies was not designed to be soloed and having more rats in them actually makes Isk/hour effeciency for a group of players better because they don't have to waste a lot of time waiting for respawns and chasing down new anomalies...

/stamped for approval of moar tears...

the fact that you are complaining about more income from a single anom is pretty funny even if you have to spend 10 more minutes killing a few extra ships..

Learn, adapt, kill moar...

I actually enjoy running anom's for income as well and don't mind that they are increasing the amount of ships. On top of that I do run a second account for that just incase situation, since 0.0 isn't the most friendly, having that just incase ship helping either my tank or doing dmg makes all the difference when you have a roam spotted.. To finish off that last ship and head for the station.

On top of that not all of us like to warp to 0 and get bent over, some actually like to long range tank and do crazy amounts of dmg.

Sigh at the trolls.

I personaly only do sanctums/havens in a Carrier. I bubble ze **** out of the gates, and put annoying "afk cloakeys" in the systems nextdoor, so i have over 45secs to get my **** into gear and back into a pos should the need arise.

I do understand, as alot of you dont seem too, that not everyone can fly a carrier, nor SHOULD everyone fly a carrier purely to do 0.0 anoms.

Contrary to popular belief, a fair few people out in 0.0 prefer flying subcaps and specialising their SP in them.

With the design of 10/10's etc etc, gates which do not allow carriers, hints that 0.0 should be do-able in subcaps, a regular anomoly especialy.

Again, adding 3 more bs's each spawn - when in Guristas or Blood Raider's space where the npc's nute/jam - having the extra few Bs's that spawn and nute you is the make/break situation for subcaps.

If CCP were to run a few sites themselves, take note of what kills it for a subcap pilot now, and did not before, and made adequate changes to compensate - rather than going Ok guys we'll just open the spawn table for every Haven/Sanctum/Hub and +3 battleships per spawn - It is required of CCP for them to go thru it and analise what the extra spawns do and how heavily it impacts the pilot (ie the change from being able to do it in a Rattler with deadspace fits now, and it cannot after the patch without warping out 5 times due to being capped out within 30secs on 1 spawn with 6 nuting BS's instead of 3)

I still cant understand all the hate from the highsec carebares. You do realise that people such as the Mittani that want to nurf the crap out of your'e prescious highsec/wormholes represent only a fraction of the 0.0 community yes?

Why all the hate and "bring on the nurfs!!" from the highsec carebares. You dont have to worry about sov or the bills that come with it, you dont have to become paranoid and watch local like a hawk to sit back and do you're missions, if you want to make big money you can go do incursions in peace as well (assuming you're not stupid and join a fleet-killing jerk group, and go thru apropriate chat channels to join a fleet)

All we're wanting is for CCP to actualy do what they said (Buff the 0.0 anoms) rather than further nurf them and call it a "buff"

Never did we ask for free isk on a platter, we have to kill **** just like you carebares in highsec have too. We're just showing the same responce you would if they added 6 more BS's spawns that nute into you're Blockade/Worlds Collide/Mordus Headhunters/Angel Extravaganza missions.

Who am i kidding, im just feeding the trolls by pleading with logic and reason.
