Making the Eve landscape more interesting and 0.0 access

My idea is don't cluster all the high sec space together, split up all the safe empire space into their main factions, Caldari, Amarr etc and surround each safe high sec region with 0.0 with lots of access points so you don't get a bottle neck in one system for peeps heading out in and out of that area due to almost certain ganking on the gates.

So you would end up with 4 or 5 islands of high sec space surrounded by 0.0

This would make travel more fun, get more ppl into 0.0 due to fewer choke points, give access to NPC stations close to 0.0 and make the map of Eve a lot more interesting.

Thoughts ?

Also put more NPC stations in 0.0 if you want more ppl to go there. While big alliances have a choke hold on any stations then ppl won't go into 0.0 as there is nowhere to base themselves out of. The risk is not worth the reward if you have to try run access point gate camps everyday.

You know. I don't mean to be offensive but it is clear to me that you are not experienced in the ways of EVE.

I would suggest you lurk moar.

Although, I have to admit changing each empire to be an island of high-sec surrounded by 0.0 would be awesome luls.

I'd prefer to do something similiar to what the current issue is regarding the Amarr <-> Rens route.

There are two ways to go, one is fairly short but takes tyou through lowsec... quite dangerous lowsec.
The other way is highsec only but is much, much longer.

Remove the highways, especially the one Nijara road.

Separate the empires with lowsec, and have some ways that can go through shorter. Include FW. Have the security status on the borders vary with the empire's control over the region. Put pirate militias in FW. They can occupy and lower the sec status of those border systems, the empire factions fight each other and those pirate factions to keep the sec status up and trade routes more secure.

Example.. Kapputen (or however it's spelled).

It's normally a hisec area, right on the border and a direct route between Jita and Amarr. It's along the largest superhighway in empire space. Guristas see a gold mine. They establish a remote (not station) office. Cosmos agents and stuff. They start to infest the region, and your corp can side with the Guristas (thus also become a faction enemy to the caldari state and caldari militia). Systems becoems contested.

Caldari FW malitia tries to plex and remove them just like an incursion, you as a guristas malitia pilot can defend the plex. Incursion goes into full swing and suddenly control goes to the Guristas. Next downtime the security status of the system is 0.4.

Now the traders need to find an alternate route. Yes, to avoid surprises there would be notice on the incoming gates that the security status has dropped.

So they scream at the injustice! Enter Caldari malitia.. or Concord faction... come in and clean up, plex, engage each other (they are treated as WTs so can shoot each other) and raises the status back up to hisec where Concord has control of the system again on the next downtime.

Now there will always be a highsec path or two, but they would be an extra 25-30 jumps.

This boosts faction war, boosts lowsec, gives pirates some fun, gives anti-pirates a purpose, and makes eve dynamic.

Not a diplo.

The above post was edited for spelling.

Not offensive at all, you could give an explanation as to why though, this wasn't about me it was about making 0.0 more accessible to players in general.

The way I would do it by adding more access gateways to 0.0 and placing more NPC stations in 0.0, would mean you should not have to change the game mechanics which does annoy players, and from the view of peeps already in 0.0, would not an influx of new players be good ? There's allot of empty space out there not being used.

It was like that at one point, except with lowsec. It failed eve, and had to be fixed. Bubbled null today would fail worse than low back then.

Expand, I like all these comments against the op but with no constructive backup ?

This is an idea, discuss it and why it would work or not work, not your guess work opinions of the op.

I'm not talking about bubbling null sec but high sec, as it is but split into 4 or what ever and still surrounded by null sec

Jeez tough crowd,
