CCP ≈ СССР: coincidence, or intentional?

This has been burning in my mind ever since I found out that the Cyrillic acronym for USSR is СССР.

Maybe it is Capitals, Cruisers (t3s), and Pirates (pirate faction ships), denoting the type of ships that win against all the rest.
