Japanese/Koreans, they actually share a character between many friends ... so they might actually be active 24/7.

i have played mmo where koreans just sweept the foreign player base/ i think japanese are very similar to koreans with their gaming habits.


they though tend to play more japanise games than foreign ones...... it will be interesting to see.....



and we were all worried about the future of ccp and eve...........

the newer oriental player base will be numerous.... more cooperative , less critical , more loyal in subcription terms and less

argumentative to CCP

Back a few years ago, I played c-aion, and k-aion all the time. Some of the best communities I have ever played with. And being a English speaker. I had almost no problem, unlike my country they spoke more then one language. god forbid.

But to keep the topic fresh, wait till we have to pay per hour like most of them do. CCP's gold mine untapped.

Lister this was my only point regarding the whole issue, we already have a dominant russian only block, if we start having an influx or japanise korean gamers (since ccp is translating the game ) is going to break the game for the rest of us....

tried to explain this to our enlighted forum users , no point......

this benefits CCP walllets no-one else

So what's different about now and previously? Japanese players (a good number of them) have been playing on tranquility for years. Were they expecting their own server or something? I'd actually love to see a massive influx of eastern players into EVE that would be sweet.

I'm actually just hoping CCPs advertising team drags their sword over the line on this big-time. I'm looking forward to a more diverse server... it's good for the game yo...
