New Player Training Session: Exploration Fleet!

We don't have a newsletter or a specific notification system for the New Player Training Sessions yet, but we try to advertise them on as many channels as we have available. We announce the entire track plan of the sessions in a dev blog, advertise each of the sessions the same day as they happen, collect all of them on EVElopedia, discuss them here on the forums, etc. etc. Reaching as many players as possible that might be interested in what we are doing is our number one goal, next to making these sessions as beneficial as possible.

Not all of the sessions will be fleets which involve in-game activity. You can always hang around the New Player Training Sessions chat channel in-game, where we conduct the sessions, as it is usually populated by players who are able and eager to assist you with any questions and we encourage players to gather there even when we are not online.

The next track of sessions will be announced as soon as we are ready. This is a ball we want to keep rolling, make bigger, and better :)

That said! I want to send out a big thank you to everyone that did show up for the exploration fleet on the 27th and I hope you all at least had fun and learned a thing or two about EVE. Mostly that it's not as scary as most of the veterans will have you believe.

Latest news on the launcher says you have another fleet going right now? Is this still going on?

There are a few folks that are confused because the launcher states event on 30th however all the information is for the 27th. Hopefully this gets sorted out soon.

I just started playing this game 3 hours ago and love it already. :D
I definitely want to join in on these rookie training fleets as soon as possible!
