I actually meant to answer this, but forgot.

People who grade trolls are people that like trolls. Many eve players play for the tears. Trolls generate tears and are therefore considered part of the game, just like scams are part of the game. Thus a good troll generates many tears and spawns much hate. A good troll is like unto a fine wine, and a poor troll is maybe useful as a cleaning solvent.

Obvious trolls that don't generate tears at all get low scores. That's why GD is so different from NQ, because there are so many players over there pretending to be some disgruntled newbie, where the real newbies are supposed to post over here.

A good troll will fool more people. I've been fooled by a few. Sometimes the troller even admits it was a troll later. So when people do the disgruntled newbie trick in GD or elsewhere, everyone is reading it wondering if it really is a newbie.

My choice of pronouns is based on your avatar. Even if I know what is behind the avatar.
