For a while now I've been looking for a program / app / whatever to synchronize eve events (skill training, science and industry, etc...) with a google calendar account.

Since I couldn't find anything that fits the bill I decided to make it myself in java.

would anyone be interested in such an application? :)

I also need volunteers with long term science jobs who wouldn't mind sharing their API keys with me so I could experiment on them.

I find the idea not bad for skill training, but for industry jobs ... no thank you!
When I was a more active I had about 80 to 100 invention jobs finishing ... PER DAY!

fake edit: eventually for ME or PE research it would be nice ... but only for jobs that take longer than a day or two.

Well I used to have monthly manufacturing jobs that I _always_ forgot about them, not to mention people who do copying in empire... Obviously it's not intended for people who do manufacturing on a day to day basis :P

I also forgot to mention, if anyone is interested in helping feel free to evemail me :)

EVEMon has already that feature for skill training and skill queue.
As for jobs... well Lutz covered me on that.
After all EVEMon does offer a way to monitor the jobs (personal or corp issued) of a character. Doesn't that suffice?
If your issue is to be able to monitor them via a smartphone...well I think there are plenty of apps out there that cover each and every mobile OS.

Well sure evemon covers it, but as far as I know you can't sync it with a calendar.

And yeah I do want this for a mobile phone, among other things but I have yet to find an app that sends notifications for industry jobs...

I don't see a purpose in such app... Especially since skill queue introduction.

You mean make it automatically update the calendar?
No it doesn't. EVEMon requires you to update it but that can be changed. We just didn't had any request about it in EVEMon's UserVoice. On a first glance this can be done fairly easy.

Skill Queue is only for one day?
the idea is to see upcoming events in a calendar, outside of eve, how can skill queue be of any help if the next skill is in a month from now and i forgot about it? :)

IIRC EVEMon has a schedule thingy but no option to export to other types of calendars?
it doesn't have to auto update, but just be able to export it, maybe i missed something?
the whole idea (at least for me) is to collect everything under one big calendar (Google calendar in this case)

Don't get me wrong, i would love to find out if someone already did this in any way, it could save me a lot of time...
