Getting revenge on a Corp Thief...

Hello Dear Capsuleers of New Eden!

"A butterfly flaps its wings in one part of the world, a faction Vindicator is lost in another".

Stealing corp assets is nothing new in EVE Online, but from 1mil to 100 billion, the act is as low as you can get; a sense of betrayal towards your once friendly and helpful corpmates.

Now, after facing the boot from a fine corp and not really much to do in EVE, Aurora Spacefarer found himself looking to do some incursion running in his new NPC corp.

Fortunately for him, he had heard of a 'infamous' armor fleet FC that was currently blitzing around the systems near him and he convo'd the said FC.

"I recognise that name" I thought as he asked if there was room to join... "Thats the guy who stole from us!!" I thought as I accepted him in and began plotting his demise.

I was flying a Guardian, the lifeline to any incursion fleet... and I made no hesitation in getting the other Logistics in chat.

I explained the situation, and they agreed to lure this thief into the trap that I was preparing for him. It was very simple, get him cornered and locked down in a High DPS incursion site and let the rats kill him whilst we stood by not repping him.

"What ship do you need?" he said... given the option of either a loki or a vindicator, I chose the latter knowing the current prices and the faction mods he was inevitably gonna fit to it!

as time passed, along with site after site... finally an opportunity came when an Overide Transfer Array spawned (Highest Damage site in Vanguard class incursions) - it was now or never.

The guy even had the cheek to offer cheap ships to fleet members in fleet during this time!!! Some of which could have been the stolen assets. (I have no doubt).

So we warped into the site. The first spawn was weak so we repped him up, making him feel safe... but as soon as the Deltole battleship died and confirmation that he still had aggro was made, I told the logi in chat to cease reps on the Vindicator... and down his armor went... screaming "Guys i need reps, Vindi needs reps" I listened to his pathetic crys over comms, replying "I dont see any problems" and "Are you sure you need reps"?

His Vindicator was lost, and he then asked why he didnt get any reps, quite calmly actually... I replied "Well thats what you get for ripping off MV you son of a b**** piece of s*** (something to that effect) He prompty left comms and fleet and logged off...

a bit disappointing as i was expecting a verbal standoff... I have no sympathy for the guy, and it just goes to show that sometimes EVE has a funny way of screwing over the people who scam others.

I frapsed the moment, but unfortunately the audio was lost due to fail settings on my part... shame really as it was funny to hear him cry. Ces La Vie. Enjoy.

Stealing from MM is morally right.

Nice to see a corp thief get some payback, even one dumb enough to fleet with an FC who is a member of a corp he stole from.

He is not a corp thief. He is honorable space knight fighting against the oppression and evil that is MM.

Nash was using an alt, Aurora had no idea it was him until afterward.

Haha, might not get your stuff back but its nice to have the chance to exact your revenge so sweetly. With any luck he will never trust an incursion fleet again!

Edit: Watched the vid... I like the Guardian nearly going down at the end. I guess those in on the gank were laughing a bit too much :P
