Looks like more WoW players may be coming to New Eden everyone. Just a heads up! :)

The recent numbers online seem to disagree....

You meant to say: "
They will come to the forums.
They will cry for nerfs, free epics and win buttons.
Their population will become dominant.
CCP makes them target audience since this is the audience with the most subscriptions.
Tackling removed so too hard mechanic. All ships has unified stats.
Free titans for everybody and "I win" button added.
"

Looks like a bad dream.

Eve somehow makes stupid people feel smart. Little do they know it doesn't work. They're to stupid. There are far more intelligent people that have played wow. You need only look at these forums.

And then when Hulkageddon comes around they will all flock en masse to the ice belts in Hulks because they think Hulkageddon is where everyone mines in a Hulk for a week... Lol

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

The irony of you questioning the intelligence of other people while using 'to' instead of 'too' is golden.

I was under the impression most "tech savvy people" or the people most likely to play this and other MMO games used an add blocker.

I don't see the add, using add blocker +

Tech savvy people don't need ad blockers, antivirus, malware protection cause they are smart enough to avoid crap websites or use a VM.

But you wouldn't know that cause you play eve.

The reason tech savvy people DO use these things is because they are smart enough to know that 'crap websites' aren't the only places to get stuff on your computer. Otherwise, they use Linux instead of Windows, but even then they still use ad block because it blocks annoying ads. That's just common sense for people who like faster loading times.

Oh, btw, it's not people who play EVE who are smart, it's people who do well at EVE. The rest are just jealous, and stoop to using invectives about other players' intelligence because they're mad while simultaneously confusing the words 'to' and 'too'.

You saw that ad due to your cookies. IE: Eve players see eve ads. Wow players will see wow ads. This is not news.

You nut cases.. haven't figured out the most simple aspects of interenet advertisements.

I'd say that well over 50% of the ads that -you- see are selected based on navigation data of the computer or device you're using... even if you aren't logged into a google accounr(or facebook or skype etc).

You saw EVE because some advertising server knows that you've been to EVE related sites.

I think I see EVE ads at investment sites sometimes.

I visited Tivo a few times to look into upgrading my device and I've getting bombarded with tivo ads ever since.

.... the ads that are served to you come down to a bidding process where they'll put the advertiser who wants to pay most that is willing to pay to reach what they can see about your history... sometimes no one will pay and they you get the free public service adds about not smoking or something.

True Fun Fact : go browse some Bikini Stores frequently. Click through a few pages there like a normal shopper would... or victoria secret works well too. True adult sites don't work as well.. usually mainstream sites exclude those connections...

Next thing you know, you'll see girls in scanty bikini's in the add spots, not EVE online ..... or worse --- browse a site on athletes foot or complextion problems and you'll get some really ugly ads.
