I figured you didn't spend time researching it for resale, but for personal use. As the market for this particular module isn't exactly a flourishing trade. I also figured that since you're selling it that you have no further use of it. I further guessed that there is an extremely low market desire for the BPO itself, even lower than for the module. Since you do not just sit in a station rolling these things off the assembly line to match market consumption the material level is also of minimal consequence being that an extremely low ME is nearly identical. Your ME of 12 takes only 72.75 days to reach, and you're asking for nearly a million a day that it was kept in research.

For this, and all the above reasons I figured an NPC price offering was extremely reasonable rather than a 38.4% markup on a 72.75 day "investment" from you. In your shoes I completely understand the desire to passively increase your wealth by .5287% a day on an otherwise worthless BPO. But I'm not going to judge, because I'll just go buy it from an NPC vendor for NPC cost, feel good for taking ISK out of the economy, and get in 3-4 ME levels before I need to build one.
