Gallente FW Missions in an Ishtar?

Tried running them in a Bomber once but that is impossible due to very high ranged railgun frigs/cruisers of Caldari.

Has anyone tried running them in an Ishtar? Trying to throw together a fit right now but I'm unsure what to use ....

I'd like to fit MWD+Cloak to be able to travel safely (I'll have my standings alt pick up the missions and scout ahead but still). Could use the MWD to burn off and drop Wardens, shooting the target from almost 100k range. Not sure if range tanking is really the best idea against Caldari though. That and the fact that you land at 0 with scramming rats right next to you >_>

100mn Wasptar would definetly be the better choice for clearing the mission (lol missile damage) but I don't know if the travel time would make it "worth it" It would be awesome in uproot (where the rats would force you away from your sentries which could mean losing them) but in Reprisal for example sniping stuff with sentries seems like the perfect choice.

Maybe some kind of hybrid?

This would snipe the BS rats and use the Ogres in uproot (where travel time isnt as important since the structure has quite large EHP. Not yet sure what to put in the mid slots - Omni seems unnecessary, since you wont have problems tracking a BS at almost 100k and range on Wardens is already higher than Drone Control Range. On sniping missions however Drone Navigation Computers would be unnecessary and a wasted midslot. Another idea is using a thermal Hardener and an adaptive invuln or a Shield Recharger to increase the tank to a level at which you can tank the room even when the frigs/dessies/cruisers have burned towards you and just sit at 0, orbiting your Sentries.

On a more serious note, from what i.ve heard jamming will happen frequently so running an ishtar could work,but... You will show up a very tasty target on d-scan and as it is right now, its pretty easy to catch someone running missions so you might wanna think about that. Maybe replace ogres with some warriors or grab mobile depot so you can swap lows with stabs .

As for the fit, the one you linked should work provided you have enough range on the wardens.

That fit works great. I use a variation of it all the time for Gallente FW missions.

But how do you tank? Range-tank? Or can you actually face-tank / just orbit the beacon?
