I respect those two (FD and DSQ) for reaffirming that likes are meaningless.

It seems that people need to be reminded of this every once in a while. A week per year of massive notification spam is a small price for that.

Well i can see the use in a notification for a war , or a clone needed update or basically a lot of things.But besides it being annoying as hell i don't see the use of a like notification.So yes i have gotten rid of it the day we got the ''like system'' wich by the way also is as usefull as the notification itself.

Likes are a simple measurement of how much of a douche bag you are.

Anything over 500 and your just a bad poster.

Over a thousand and you are probably a troll.

Anything over 5,000 and you should consider how much you make your parents regret your birth.

Over 10,000 and you are a douche bag factory. If CCP had any decency they'd ban your accounts and send you on a free trip to some 3rd world nation where the internet does not exist.

As others have stated, it means nothing and is basically just EPEEN bragging rights.

Having said that, we should all welcome the LIKES Overlords (FluffyDice and Destination SkillQueue) and humbly thank them for bestowing their gifts upon us.
