This is for those who gank freighters. Consider it a poll if you will.

I'm curious what ganker's thoughts are upon seeing a freighter carrying what is likely double wrapped packages. I've only ganked one ship in my roughly 5 or 6 years of playing, so I'm on the outside looking in per say.

As I'm understanding it, a scan of a freighter carrying double wrapped packages will only give a result of the however many and types of containers within the courier package. It does not show the items within those containers. Does it show the courier "box" as well?

If you see a likely candidate carrying double wrapped packages, do people regularly still gank these ships in hopes of a huge payout?

Just like ganking blockade runners, you take a chance, the upside to taking a chance, is it may pay off big, the downside of course is you get nothing or very little.

If I see a double wrap, I will usually go for it. But I stick to the smaller indys, a freighter takes multiple people, failure or coming up empty is a lot more costly, not only in isk, but morale of the group.
