Well the Prophecy is a dedicated drone boat now so it's not really much of a comparison but Prophecy would be the superior choice in most situations I think.

i was thinking somewhat of the same thing from what i have seen and as i started as a gall doing drone boats i figure that mixed with the armor tank skills from back in the day that this was the way to go

It's a pretty easy choice, tank vs dps for the prophecy and harbinger respectively. I think that the shield harbi might be decent but I don't plan on trying it anytime soon

If you gave good drone skills, go for the Prophecy.
If you have good gunnery skills, go for the Harbringer.

Simple as that.

If you have similar skills in both, I think that the Prophecy will do more dps and be more tanky.
As my drones skills are terrible I havn't tried, you might want to EFT that.

HAM prophecy is pretty nice.

650dps, 100k EHP, neut. (2x drone damage amp)

Sentry Prophecy isn't as good as a Myrm because it only has 75m3 bandwidth but if you compare it to the ranged dps of a Harbinger in PVE then the Prophecy wins. Especially because it's less burdened by tracking disruption and can select its damage types. In PVP they're limited in use but when used right they're quite powerful.

if you dont mind using drones, use the Prophecy, the option for using missiles is a good addition, its also the tankiest of the 3 Amarr BCs (4% to al resists per lvl)

if you like to use lazors on the other hand, the Harbinger is the best (for medium turrets), it can even be used with a dual repping setup for PvE, i guess it can give quite the punch in PvP, same for the drone chicken.....

Prophecy is very versatile and I'd personally chose it over the Harb most of the time.

Shield/Nano Navy Harb with HPL II's is a beast for kiting, capacitor can be an issue however

Both are capable battlecruisers. One uses lasers, the other drones. The prophecy is better in the current PVP meta due to its resist bonus and the whole drone assist thing.

With enough rigs, armor resist toys you can get your Prophecy armor resist to a minimum of 80% in everything... and then you turn on your Reactive Armor Hardener ... one medium armor rep and you can laugh at a 1000DPS incoming.
