Same here, two socket close today since I've logged on, both within five minutes of being logged on. One random socket closed last night. I've rarely had socket closed before on my network, very rarely. Maybe guessing recent patches by CCP on tolerance to packet losses given people issues. Though launcher, forum and main site were offline just a few minutes ago. Server issues again ?!

I have getting these errors since quite some time now, for some periods of time it was less and now its more.
When Im dualboxing or multiboxing its always just one client which disconnects, its very seldom that more than one disconnect at the same time.

Ok. I was finally able to log in again but at a very high price. I had to set my Mac back to factory settings. However, the socket disconnect error is still occurring. I'm much more patient with it now that before. However, it's still very bothersome. I'm not exactly pleased that I had to go to such extremes in order to alleviate the problem with very irritating side effects. This problem still arising after a full system reset only means that the problem is not with my Mac, but with Eve itself.

After spending about 10 days unable to log in at all then another 3 days backing everything up and another day of factory resetting, I'm exhausted with all the anxiety this has caused. The problem being on their end means that we're not at fault nor should we have to do drastic measures in order to access services we are paying for.

With all that said, it feels good to be back online with Eve even with the socket disconnect problem. But I don't have to like it.

I got this 4 times this morning, Australian time. I never have issues with socket closed. I did notice it happened when I was in systems where Dust players were active.

Edit: I've pinged 87.237.38.200 and it's very consistent, bytes = 32, time = 382 to 384 ms, TTL = 238

I am Having this issue as well, was able to connect to TQ all day but just lost connection with the "Socket Closed" message and am now unable to log on. Fun times

Edit: As of 0045 or so I was able to reconnect

Have been having this constantly and I can confirm this is NOT a connection issue as it happens on different networks from different ISPs. I have lost about 4 ships to this so far (none of which have been refunded BTW) and can say this happens on a regular interval. It also seems to be a client issue because the server will only report as disconnected after I quit the client.

Third time: client will now not let me log in as I'm getting blown up in space in my Hawk. Play button on launcher is greyed out.

My issues seem to be coming from Windows 8.1. My USB ports drops in and out for no reason and my wi-fi adaptor, along with my keyboard, are the two devices most affected. I'm not in EvE as I type this and my connection was dropping in and out then my keyboard crapped out. My PC is having a mood.
