So... playing about a week, - already tried it earlier (several years ago). Nothing changed.

Here are my impressions...:

Where is crew of the ship? For sure such a big ships can not be controlled by a single, even augmented with cybernetic implants, man. Participating in battles and performing daily routine they could get invaluable experience and perform their duties better. If ship blows up, they can leave the ship by survival pods.

In fact, there is some way to seize the ship, to board? It would be great to do it with my ship's crew (space marines, stormtroopers). It would be even better, if I could take the gun in my hands, and like in first-person shooters, do it myself.

"...and space was empty and lifeless" Why ships NPCs not travel through space? Yeah, there is space taxis of any kind, space truckers... Type of civilian space traffic. Space casinos, brothels...

There is no freedom of action. Where is button for direct control of the ship, and why it like in cheap cloned сhinese (no offense to say) mmorpg, - "point-and-click"?

My ship like any of thousand another in that space. Where is workshop where i can paint my ship and put some decals on it?
Hello? any decoration here? of the ship? of the space, where my ships are covered with stardust?

Do something with the HUD. It like a brick - rude and uncouth. Can't even set font size for one or any window. Can't set opacity of one or another window, individual color on it.

Obsolete, poor visual performance in some (or more) parts of the game. Today is 2014 year - yeah, future...

Bring native linux support. As i understand, OpenGL already inside (MAC support). May be there will a time for AMD's Mantle?

...and many other remarks.

You need to keep up with the times.

Thank you for your attention.

There is no place for me (...and for many other peoples with their money ready to pay for a fun). Hello Star Citizen?

Stealth "star citizen will kill eve thread"

Total tit sadly. And have you seen the star citizen stream, looked like any other bollocks game with no soul.

Enjoy wasting your kickstarter money :)

A week playtime! Must be an expert at work here....

So turning my ship into space sims and parking it in the garage for a paint job is how you "keep up with the times"...now who would have thought that?! Shocked

Probably the most useless and most uninformed post this year gg.

So I hear that prioritizing the notoriously fickle Call of Duty / Guild Wars 2 gamer types is a superior business model - as compared to offering deep, meaningful gameplay to a far more mature player base that tends to stick around. Why, at this rate CCP should be well on their way to irrelevance come next spring or so.

Nobody gets hurt, but it will attract funds.

p.s.: I have grown on the "X" series and "Freelancer", "HomeWorld" series, "Nexus The Jupiter Incedent". So it's hard to get used to such restrictions.

...and the is no need for an aggression, so calm down.

Well, during your week you didnt undock, so hopefully Star Citizen is more to your taste, although, you may be saddened to discover that it is full of Eve Players, and not an MMO ^^

Are you ******* serious?
While we're at it, why don't we implement tactical bayonets for ship melee fights and vacuum camouflage skins for dat dere close range boarding.

Straightforward.

Don't bother coming back, Eve is obviously not the game for you. Enjoy Star Citizen, if and when it eventually comes to fruition.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

But Homeworld and Nexus were mouse-controlled RTS-games. There was no "direct control" like you want, also after playing those games, shouldn't playing Eve feel familiar to you? I know I felt pretty nostalgic after fiddling around with Eve's controls for a while. And I'm someone who plays X: Albion Prelude with everything bound to Joystick-buttons.

Regarding the crew, read through the lore a bit. They're there. (In most ships, shuttles or something don't have a crew.) Or wait for the lore book to arrive in 2014, it will explain everything.

You come to the forums for the game, after playing the game for only a week, a game that requires a LOT more time than a week to really get a grasp of, rag on it with what equates to some rather horrible reasons for the game being "behind the times" and then expect people not to feel aggression. Your ignorance is immense.

(I would say the usual "can i have your stuff" but a week old player doubtfully has anything worth my time.)

OP didn't really understand what eve is about.

If you want EvE to be a certain way you should join the dev team if you want to be an armchair developer. Some of your ideas are better posted in Features and Ideas Discussion. I doubt Star Citizen will be your cup of tea either if you cannot understand the basic tenents of eve.

Hell you don't even know the controls for eve.

Spotted a “no freedom of action” in there, and couldn't read the rest because my eyes teared up from laughter. Lol

I will. I hope it evolves (for their own good). I do not blame this game for anything.
May be I'll try 3 months (or so) subscription for "full" experience, but can't play every day - only few hours in week.

to aggressors: Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Don't choke in own bile.
