Hi guys,

Here's my first attempt at an Eve Online PVP video with comments and such. I'm pretty new at this but I enjoy documenting our fights. Lately we have been having a lot of fun messing with Faction Warfare, going after plexers and pirates alike. I admit I'm terrible right off the bat Lol but any constructive criticism is welcome, especially about the video format itself.

In the first fight, you say trap, I saw 5 v 6, by taking 2 down you would have won the isk war, why didnt you take the fight?

Not sounding to be horrible but:

I read Azn comment, checked the first fight and turned it off.

You had 6 people vs 5 People lets all just remember you lot are all in frigates...not that expensive Roll

Should have taken the fight, gotten excellent footage and said your gf's

I guess because winning the ISK war was never our motive. Killing and looting that hookbill was, if you look closely you see the looter warp off afterwards. Hoped to fish for some comments on the format instead of the subject matter, but I'll keep in in mind for next time.

I wasn't trying to be rude, its just that, like sky pointed out, ur in friggies (less expensive then the friggies that landed) and u ran from a fight you realistically could have won with some luck, but instead of showing that footage, you show 5 pilots ripping thru one guy and running when his backup ( the good fight) landed.


I just think if you took THAT fight, thatd have been the one worth watching, not the initial gank :/ But hey, sandbox, whatever makes you happy.


Edit: also, what do you mean by wanting comments on format and not on subject matter?

I meant that I kind of slapped this together as an experiment, using some simple software to add music, text and transitions. I was mainly looking for some comments on how to improve the editing and music, and perhaps learn come camera tricks. I can understand closer fights would get more props, I had an amazing 1vs1 against an Atron today, but my capture software bugged out and only recorded half the fight... Cry

The footage itself is nothing to write home about, but thanks anyway for your gentle and constructive critisism! Nobody in the movie knew they were being recorded so we didn't really play for the GF's that night, we were more or less ganking indeed.
